The reason I chose this college is it's location, it is in the heart of Ichalkaraji, not like other colleges. There is no written test for admission, it is only based on your cet percentile or your JEE marks. There are some management seats too for every course.
The reason behind choosing this course was the emerging jobs in data science field. Honestly talking, the faculty is not that good. As per my experience faculty changes frequently that's why the experience factor lacks somewhere. The course content is so outdated, no one talks about new tech, they only discuss about same things like DSA, DBMS etc. Every course contains 8 semesters and every semester has 3 exams unit test 1, unit test 2 and End sem exam. The passing criteria is not that hard.
Internships at our college aren't that great; you mostly have to find them on your own. I didn't get one through the college either. Most students end up searching for internships independantly, which can be a bit challenging but also a good learning experiance.
Placements at our college are average, with mostly DSA-based companies visiting. Eligibility criteria include a minimum 60% aggregate and no backlogs. Recruiters like TCS, Infosys, Hexaware and Wipro visit, making around 50 offers. The highest package is ?8 LPA, while the average is ?4 LPA. About 60% of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to pursue a career in Cy ber security but there will be no company in my campus for cybersec.
There are multiple scholarships like dfws, obc, ebc, sc/st and many more. The yearly fee at our college is around 1.25 lakh, but with scholarships, mine is about rs.62k per year. Fees include tuition, caution, registration, admission, development, and lab fees. Scholarships like mert need are available. Fees are increasing yearly. My batchmates in other categories pay similar amounts.
The campus of my college literally average. There is no space relaxing in your free time, even though you stop somewhere the guards will not allow it. The festival happens in Dkte are Dkte socials, Dandiya night, sports and some course related events like compitation and hackathons. There many good clubs in our college like in my department there are clubs like Cybersecurity association, IEEE, Code chef student's chapter etc. Talking about others there is a Social club, Ganpati festival club and more.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
