I had profound interest in Political Science as a subject. The college, I read, had an immensely knowledgeable faculty. A National exam named CUET was held and many students applied for the same. The syllabus was NCERT 11th and 12th class subjects that you had pursed.
The faculty is what made me choose this course and college. Its very intellectual and the professors are very knowledgeable and know what they are doing. Thebteching method is very student friendly and they give the best for us to understand. Semester exams are held every 6 months, including internal and externals tests, presentation, vivas.
Only the placement cell provides internship opportunities at the college. However, I have not applied for any internship or job opportunities . But there are companies such as Hero, TVS that hire and provide job internships.
The placement cell society of the college provides opportunities for various jobs and careers building work. It ranges from 1 lac per annum to somewhat 3 or 4 lacs per annum. This is the basic range of placements and no such offers are available other than these opportunities.

College has an excellent ground. NCC is the plus point for the college as it is the biggest in DU. Other societies such as the Placement Cell, Aakriti, Cyclone, Junoon, Phulkari, and Rishabh are among the top cultural societies.
The food and the price at the college canteen is excellent. Its very budget friendly. They provide everything from basics to the main course, all healthy environment for the college students and faculty. There is no hostel provision.
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
