- I like the university staff that is helpful to students cooperating wardens and the infrastructure is good as well as the best is sports facilities that a student must indulge to get rid of mind pressure provided by the studies which is properly taken care of by the college.
- Student are provided different clubs, and project competitions and hackathons that make a student go through with the concept of real life experiences and his overall position and how much he/she needs to learn and how he can go out for more bigger challanges . They all are taken care of properly bt the college .
Dislikes
- Restrictions : for every thing there is a restriction like student can't go out on his own , no big events.or fests are organised so that they can get rid of boredom, every small mistake they need to pay fine for . For every single thing they need to call parents and male them ask the wardens if they can go out that's a big trouble so there is no freedom. Inside cafes or earing shops are not too much that if a student wants to order any thing from Zomato kr swiggy they are not allowed . Even student are not allowed to bring things on hostel from their self cafes they have to eat all things outside the hostel. If student needs something at night they can't order or bring them in . And from outside a college even a burger is not allowed to enter , how could a student feel good they only have to remain without eating.
- There are too many extra online courses which are not required and which doesn't help them like personality development that are mandatory to submit no matter whether student is cheating or not they just have to complete and submit which gives them extra pressure of completing them which is student not even interested like Coursera and all.
Remarks :
I was not able to crack for government colleges and in private this I found good due to some research and some advices from friends and relatives. College is all rounder good in providing facilities and other education aspects but I found I bad in a way that here are very strict rules that couldn't give student relief in the name of college life or freedomness that a student require being a college student along with the studies even they weren't allowed to got out on their own and can't even bring kind of food or entertainment material in hostels which made them difficulties to live mind freely in hostel and enjoy that hostel Life . Some of these kind of strict rules are not good and should be removed in my opinion so that student lifing far from homes can atleast enjoy their college life along with studies
Course Curriculum Overview :
Education system is better . This course has far more opportunities than others and a good placement chances . Teaching method is also very good as student can learn easily and in a good manner . Exams were taken periodically over a short period of time which made student keep the concept in their minds and not forget them .
Internships Opportunities :
I am a second year student so I haven't opted for any internship yet , they all will come after third year or in the mid of it . But there are many opportunities for internships for free as well as paid . There are many opportunities through hackathons provide by the college premises as well as a student can apply for hackathons from outside the college like from open or from internet through various websites
Placement Experience :
College is very good about placement cell and opportunities. Each student with required skills and achievements is given placement opportunities. Even there are too many companies who approach the university every year except few like apple , Microsoft , Google or some big ones but many other big and good companies are there to give placement to students with a good package .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Registration and admission fees total about 20,000/- per sem or sometimes per year (2 sem) and tution fees per sem is about 1,00,000/- for 'BE-CSE' Not that direct scholarships are availed but if you are from quota then you can directly check the website of college or contact them and merit required is above 60% in class 12.
Campus Life :
Sports are available and a good place to play for. Also fests organise but big artists or famous personalities are called very rarely . Since 2 years no famous personality is being called each time they call a boring dj for 5-6 hours and nothing else . Also they doesn't allow students to go outside on their own so that they can enjoy their bachelor's life being a college student. There is a good place to roam around but daily being on the same small place makes it too boring around the campus. There is a need to spend on fests and social life so that it will make college life more interesting and student shall be given some relief from such strict irrelevant rules like not going in friends room after 12 even being in hostel in 'college' not in school .
Hostel Facilities :
Every year hostel admission opens on their website you just have to reach the website and fill the form and then you can avail for it . Hostel rooms are of 4 types Single , double , tripple , four sharing with or without attached washroom , with or without AC. Hostel mess is ok but not that good quality of food . It's price is about 75,000/- for four sharing without AC per semester which is too much I guess including mess and laundry (very bad laundry) and students are not allowed to go in other room after 12 at night . Each small thing has a fine on it without any relevancy . Although good thing are there like tobacco or any kind of drug is not allowed also strict actions are there against ragging etc.

College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year

I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.

Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs

placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil

The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro,hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.

There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA

Course Curriculum Overview :
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
