So, I had just cleared my 12th and it was COVID times. So, at that time they were not taking JEE results because the exam had been postponed due to covid. So, I got easy admission just by filling their form. It was on first come first serve basis. They have good placements for sure. 200+ companies visit for the placement drive, both technical and non-technical. They give fair chance to all students based on their academia. But once, you are selected in a company you can't sit for others, it's the rule here. Apart from that, if you're a hosteller, I would say, it's the safest hostel. They have strict rules. And sometimes you might feel like you're living in a school. But it's safe. The hostel fee is high. They have 4 seaters, 2 seaters, 1seater as well AC rooms. The companies that come here are mostly from Bangalore, Pune, Gurgaon and Noida. All and all good college.
Well, it's like any other private college. At the end you need to study everything on your own from YouTube. They have strict attendance system of 75%. You can get medical approved if you have atleast 65% attendance. You can easily maintain a good CGPA here, but focus more on skill development and participate in hackathons, and join club activities for good exposure. At the end in the placements, companies don't care much about CGPA, they judge you based on your actual skills and knowledge.
Minimum eligibility criteria is just that you don't have any active or pending backlogs. You can easily maintain a good CGPA here. Companies like FICO, Xperi, YAMAHA visit college and offer good opportunities. Placement opportunities are good.
It was 82000 at my time. It keeps increasing 5% every year. The fee is definitely high, but considering the kind of exposure the college provides, it is still worth it. And considering the fact that it is a private engineering college, the fee is meant to be high.
There are no fests conducted in the college. The library for CSE department is different and there are libraries for 2 other departments and they have books mostly related to their department. There are plenty of extracurricular activities though. Once you join some club, you get better exposure. Some good clubs I might suggest: GDSC, GFG, C2S2 clubs.
The food in the mess is a bit okayish. But it'll do. The menu changes twice a year. They have a separate app called U hostel for hostel related things. There are hostels for 4 seaters, 2 seater, 1 seater. The hostel fee varies accordingly.
College offers on campus placements opportunities in the 4th year of the course . Many reputed companies like Apple , Amazon , PhonePe , Maruti Suzuki etc visits campus for rhe placements. Highest and average package is around 60 lakhs and 17 lakhs respectively . 90 % students got placed this year
Placement and job opportunity is good because in civil engineering placement are good this college is better than many government college if no campus placement is offered than I prep for government exam connected to engineering like ies and many other best engineering government job
I don't have much idea about eligibility criteria because I have been in the clg 3 months. Company like Jp Morgan godrej britannia etc are the tip recruiters in our branch. This semester My H and Q company have given intern to many students. I am planning for government jobs. 40% of students are places in my branch.
Placemnts are better than other nits like hamirpur nit Jalandhar and nit kurukshetra also better than some private college like thapar its avg is like 13 lakh and median is 12 lakh for electrcal its same median avg is 14.5 and cse avg goes 20+ and ai avg 19 lakhs
placements are good and you can get the official data on college websity of my branch 94 placed out of 127 and avg package is 13.1 and median is 12 lpa but cse avg this year goes 20 + lpa but lower branch like civil has some low placemnt stats as many students go for foriegn ms or higher studies or gate psu from civil
Placements are average on comparison with other private colleges around here Highest package this year - 11.3Lpa The teachers help very much in placements and internship . The TPC cell of the college is dead for their work
The placement rate of chitkara is great from the starting of third year you can apply for placements . Various companies like Wipro, hero, Tata motors, Reliance, Lenovo visits for placements. The average package is around 8 lpa and heights is 45 lpa, from the college there are 100% placement rate.
There is minimum 4 months of internship we have to do in 6th semester and on campus opportunities is very good. Companies like Microsoft, Google, Atlassian, BMW, jp Morgan, AMEX came with highest package of 86 LPA
I was never interested in this course but due to family stress I was forced to do this and later on it was much intrested than any other subject. The beginning and end of universe is all what engineering teaches us and if somebody will find it not interesting then he should cut himself from this world.
The placement is quite very low for my department and my course. University is practicing for encouraging more companies for our course placement. It is improving but now the placement is low for my course . Like from last year only 5 were placed out of 60.
