FACTORS THAT MADE ME TO CHOOSE THIS COLLEGE IS THAT THIS IS NEAR TO MT HOUSE AND NO OTHER COLLEGE IN HOSHIARPUR IS PROVIVIDING MSC IT AND AFFILIATED TO PANJAB UNIVERSITY.TO GET ADMISSION IN THIS COLLEGE YOU HAVE TO REGISTER ON PUNJAB ADMISSION WEBSITE AFTER WHICH A MERIT LIST WILL BE RELEASED FOR THE STUDENTS WHICH ARE SELECTED FOR GETTING ADMISSION IN THE COLLEGE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I CHOOSE THIS COURSE BECAUSE IN THE TODAY WORLD COMPUTER TECHNOLOGY IS DEVELOPING VERY FAST AND TO GET JOB IN THIS FIELD BECOME EASY AND OPEN MORE OPPOTUNITIES FOR STUDENTS TO EXCEL IN THEIR CAREER. THE COURSE CONSISTS OF 4 SUBJECTS IN FIRST THREE SEMESTERS AND IN 4 SEM YOU HAVE TO DO INTERNSHIP TO DEVELOP A PROJECT. THE FACULITY IS VERY KNOWLEDGABLE AND UNDERSTANDIND.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
FEES STURUCTURE FOR THE COURSE IS RS 70000 YEARLY. EACH YEAR CONSISTS TWO SEMESTERS AND HE STUDENT HAVE TO PAY RS 35000 FOR EACH SEMESTER INCLUDING TUTION FEES, ADMISSION FEES, REGISTRATION FEES, LAB FEES, DEVELOPMENT FEES ETC ALL CHARGES ARE INCLUDED IN IT.
Campus Life :
THE LIFE AT CAMPUS IS VERY GOOD AS THE CAMPUS IS SURROUNDED BY GREENERY AND HAVE TREES AND PLANTS . IT ALSO HAVE CLEAN ENVIRONMENT WHICH PROVIDE JOY TO THE STUDENTS . THE INFRASTRUCTURE THECOLLEGE IS PROVIDING IS UP TO THE MARK. COLLEGE ORGANISE EXTRA CURRICULUM ACTIVITIES FROM TIME TO TIME TO DEVELOP STUDENT PERSONALITIES AND SOCIAL LIFE.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.

Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
