- The patient inflow is great and the exposure to patients is also good
- The hospital area is very clean and the shops are comparatively nearer from the college.
Dislikes
- The language barrier is a major problem here as the majority of the patients don’t speak Hindi .
Remarks :
No the admission took place according to the rank secured in NEET UG and KIMS comes under the top 30 best medical colleges in India so it was also a major factor . The patient inflow is great here. The cutoff for the admission changes annually and it depends on the trend of the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Being a doctor is itself the biggest flex anyone can do . We get the chance to save life’s and save people . The number of faculties here is adequate and the machines used nowadays is also present here . The college has various departments for the various subjects distributed.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is done after the completion of 4 and half years of mbbs and it is type of mandatory so the internship feature is very good here and the placement in various departments is also done routinely after every 3 to 4 months
Placement Experience :
Being a doctor only promises a job and our seniors have cracked meet ug in one chance only . Outside India also the recognition of KIMS is great so the chances of job opportunities increases. Kims also comes under top 30 medical colleges of India .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees is ok taking in account of all the colleges in India . Also the total fees is 20,00,000 if hostel and mess are included annually. The NRI Quota has fees around 40,00,000 including the hostel and mess . Fees is same for everyone.
Campus Life :
The campus life is good but as the course is lengthy the adequate time can’t be given to the various activities. But we have fest every year and there are various societies like academic and singing. Library has literally every book and medical students have separate library . The main library is also present.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes the hostel is adequate as it is clean and the cleaning of the room is done every day by the cleaning staff . Security is very strict and random people are not allowed in the hostel . The fees for hostel and mess is 1,75,000 annually.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
