- I like the campus area and the wide space where we spent a good time of our life.
- I also like our teaching faculties who were always there to guide and help us. And also the practical facilities.
Dislikes
- Surely the campus placement section. I would like to suggest them to get some big mass recruiting companies and thats all for them.
- Another thing i dislike about the college is sometimes our toilets were not clean enough. Staff toilet were always clean but not the student's one.
Remarks :
I got this college through ojee entrance exam. After that i didn't had to go through any group discussion, interviews or any kind of written tests. Admission was a short process and the staffs were active enough to do it quickly. For the course of MCA, it was a good choice. A good set of faculties and all n all a good atmosphere for practicals were also provided. My only complain would be regarding the campus selection. Only startups were being provided to us.
Course Curriculum Overview :
It was a good choice for me to do MCA at Gangadhar Meher University. There a good set of faculties and a very good practical environment to study. Teachers were very helpful too. Specially our HOD Madhumita ma'am. As it was a self financing cource, the fee structure was little high as compared to other government colleges.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I did an internship program of 3 moths associated with the college. I did my project with a company called Norah Clinical Services in Bhubaneswar. I made a detailed report and demo model based on malware detection using machine learning and artificial intelligence. This was my major project in my final semester. I was awarded with a solid 95% for my project model.
Placement Experience :
This is the phase where this college can disappoint you a bit. We were not provided with much of the placement opportunities. We were only introduced to a number of startup companies. But we were allowed to seat on other colleges campus placements. Our placement cell had a tie up with them.
Campus Life :
Our college campus was quite an interesting area to be at. After our classes, we used to sit for hours on the ground or in front of the hostel buildings. Hostel buildings are inside the college campus only. But MCA and MBA students were not provided with the hostel facilities. We were staying in the rented houses or as paying guests.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
