The college provided specialisation in Data Science in which I was very keen, So I went forward with it. The College infrastructure is great. There are faculties which are really good and some are there only for the sake of it. One of the biggest drawback is no relaxation in attendance. Admission process took place by giving nmims-cet. The people with lower ranks are given all the preferences and as soon as the ranks fall preferences get lower. Basically, first come first serve
Course is very well structured on paper but some of the things that are taught become repetitive which becomes annoying after a point of time. Most of the teachers are young and have industry knowledge. Infact in every semester we have had atleast 1 teacher that is working in the industry and also teaches the same. However, it is great to have industry level experience, we are supposed to come to college on Sundays too!
Lot of opportunities gievn by our HOD Dr.Siba Panda. Internship in various segments like finance, machine learning, computer vision, healthcare were provided. Naming some of them: Fidelis Global, AkzoNobel(Asian Paints),rfund.ai, etc.
Eligibility criteria: 3.0+ CGPA, No retests/ Live or Dead KT’s More than 75% in 10th,12th Boards. The recruitment season is still on so the highest package on campus in my course as of now is 17.2Lpa on campus and 20Lpa off campus
Increases every year by 10-15k. On Average one can expect roughly 16Lakhs to be given as fees. But this increase in feea could be due to the new campus that was recently built. So I am not so sure if it will keep increasing in future.
Social Life is pretty good at nmims. However I feel fest culture at our college specifically isn’t that great as others. There are extracurricular committees like sports, music, etc. Library has a lot of resources including books, research paper, etc. We also are given access to softwares which are paid by the library where on of them is turnitin for plagiarism checking. Some of the fests that take place every year are Satva, Taqnik, Enactus, etc.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
