- My colleges location is wonderful with the crowd in campus it always feels so lively. Metro station is walking distance. There is Kamla nagar market nearby also with so many options for food lovers. Canteen vibes are best always wait to go sit there.
- Faculty is a big plus point the way they explain things in easiest ways are mind boggling. Have smart classes time table is well made also.
Dislikes
- It will be more like knit picking but there ARR no parking facilities for students vehicles.
- College library needs subscription for outside students which I genuinely think should be free.
Remarks :
I’ve listened so much about faculties of my college how effectively and efficiently they explain the concepts plus affordability is also major reason why I chose this college over any other. Yeah there are entrance exams (DUET) Delhi University Entrance Test which is organised by (NTA) National Testing Agency. In this exam they ask about your graduation studies on a computer based test. Admission is quite straight forward after filling the application form you need to give this entrance exam upon that the release 3 cutoffs (4 sometimes) if your name is on the list congrats you are admitted to college. As per the new pattern you need atleast 50% score if you are reserved category and about 60% for unreserved category. I prepared for exam with the help of a guide book by Dr. Seema kumari it really helps a lot me plus some basic maths problem solving practice shalk come in handy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
My ultimate goal is to do PhD research in commerce and to do that I must complete my masters and also I’ve heard many good things about this course that leads me in to this. Faculty of college is the biggest plus point they are wonderful helpful and frank with us. Always there for us during lecture or after lecture there to Communicate and urge us to communicate also. They brings out best in us. Teaching method was so simple yet so engaging.
Internships Opportunities :
Placement cell provides many internship opportunities time to time around the year. I’ve done my internship with KANPUR INTERNATIONAL MODEL UNITED NATIONS(KIMUN) for 6 months. Stipend was 5k per month. My job is to help in organising conferences organised by organisation. I have to enroll students to take part in conferences and carry out their registrations.
Placement Experience :
For being eligible to sit in placement drive you should not have any active backlog. That’s the only condition placement cell has. There are many recruiters visited last year like every year such as FIS, DELOITTE, EY etc. highest package offered is about 15,00,000 p.a. and average are 6 lakhs. About 80% students got placed last year. I’m planning to pursue higher studies and do a PhD degree in commerce.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee for course depends on college to college if you get admission in department of commerce the fee will BE As low As 3000 but in other colleges it’ll be around 10,000 for a year in my case it was about 7,000?. In university there is no different fee structure for SC and ST students except EWS. The fee may be hiked by now by about 300? to 500? again depends on college and facilities they have.
Campus Life :
Campus life was wonderful. Sometimes we play sometimes we indulge in other activities. There were regular MUNs also that made us learn more about global politics. Sociol life is also What I like to Share about there are students from every state of India yet there are no discrimination or any other ill think about anyone. Everyone was so joyful. Campus has almost every sporting facility you ever wanted indoor or outdoor both are well maintained. In ever college there are social groups and organisations that are run by students itself Such as placement cell, fashion society, debate society are the few ones.
Hostel Facilities :
In my case I live near the campus in my own home but there are some of my batchmates who live nearby on rent. What I heard from them is that the rent is quite affordable in Malka Ganj area. Below mentioned hostel fee is of my friend who lives nearby in Mujherjee nagar in a pg.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college

Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
