- Faculties as these are highly qualified.
- College is situated in heart of North campus.
Dislikes
- ac not working properly sometimes in classroom so we have to suffer.
- placement ratio is low as 50% and among then half are good company and other half are not so good.
Remarks :
For admission we have to give cuet PG exam after that on its cutoff admission is given. Cuet preparation can be done from graduation books and youtube. Department of commerce comes under Delhi School of Economics which is a prestigious college of Delhi University.a bad aspect of college is their is construction which causes disturbance in college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this college because of college name Delhi school of economics. As it provides a good knowledge in commerce and have a brand name and have placements of average 7 lakhs per year. Here faculties are highly qualified almost their are senior professors of Delhi university which are highly qualified. They have done PHD. Their teaching method is explanation using ppt and They teach very nice. In this college in year 2 times semester exams are held. and their difficulty level is moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
No i haven't opted for internships. their are less internship opportunities in this college. their is only 1 or 2 companies for internship but that are also not to good so placement company like deloitte is a very good company but internships do not come to college.
Placement Experience :
Eligibility criteria for placement is no active backlog in Couse. Deloitte, optum , Acuity knowledge partners are few firms that visit this college. Highest and average package are 10 lakhs and 7 lakhs profiles offered are tax, audit and marketing.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
M.COM fees is 13,810(inclusive of all except library charge 1200 per year) for each year. Total fees is 27000 to 30000 for 2 years. Fees is generally fixed it is not increasing but a small amount change can occurs. Fees is same for all categories. DU provide scholarship of amount up to 10000 whose income is lower than 6 lakhs . It is not every year it is as per wish if university.
Campus Life :
North Campus life a petty good in this college their are 4-5 societies in college like ECA, Rotaract, Media etc. no fest is conducted in my college but fests are conducted in other colleges(Hindu ,SRCC) which are in north campus so we can go their. Library of this college is very good its name is Ratan tata Liabrary. their is no sports activity in masters college.
Hostel Facilities :
hostel can be get from applying from du hostels site and hostel facility is provided for students from far states. Food quality is decent and eatable. this college is in heart of north campus so getting PG is very easy in malkaganj, kamla nagar ,vijay nagar ,etc.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
