You get to network, learn languages and culture, I must say, it's a mini India, Quite wholesome in itself. FACULTY The faculty here is not only experienced but also helpful. BRAND NAME DSE helps you get a lot of opportunities because of its awesome brand image in the market. EXTRA BENEFITS If you belong to DSE, you get direct entry to a lot of events and international conferences that the department hosts. now coming to admission I had taken the CUET PG exam and qualified for the cut and the rest of the process was very smooth sailing.
The course curriculum is very well curated, and the faculty is highly qualified most of the professors have a PhD degree. In terms of exams, M.com is a 2-year course divided into 4 semesters. for every semester we have an internal and external exam. The external exams are of 70 marks and the internals are of 20 marks the rest 10 marks are received from tutorials. The college offers various scholarships like FINANCIAL SUPPORT SCHEME and NATIONAL SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM.
While there are very few internship opportunities that you will get through the placement cell. One can utilize the career management cell's often provides resources, guidance, and connections to help students secure internships. They can assist with resume building and interview preparation that could lead to internships with various companies and organizations. Many students find internships through personal connections, alumni networks, or online platforms dedicated to matching students with internship opportunities in their field of interest.
To be eligible for the placement you need at least 6.5 cgpa, Delloite and KPMG are among the various recruiters. The highest placement was of 9,00,000 pa last year and the average was 6,50,000 pa. The career management cell provides us with assistance and guidance to prepare us for the placement process
The campus in itself is an amalgamation of various cultures. The MBA department holds a fest called SYNERGY generally in February or March. The classrooms are equipped with Air Conditioner Projectors and other basic amenities. There are various hostels where you can apply for accommodation, and since the college is on the north campus itself there are various PGs in the area as well. The library offers a wide array of publications and journals. Department of Commerce has various clubs like Today's Group, ECA society, Media cell, Career Management Cell. There are quite a few eateries on and around the campus the mutton keema dosa of the canteen is very famous and the famous Sudama Tea Store is within walking distance.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.
The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
talking about placement opportunities many companies come to campus including google microsoft to core companies like texas instruments and bajaj giving a decent job opportunity. each one with a cgpa of more than 7 easily grasp job with pay of more than 12 lpa and people with decent cgpa of more than 8 grasp top jobs in the campus
