- Campus: The campus is very beautiful. Lush green trees, well maintained roads, the skylab. It's a beautiful place to be.
- Cultural events: Often there are events conducted by the clubs and societies which provides the students opportunity and escape from their studies.
Dislikes
- Canteen Food: Though proper sanitation is maintained in canteens. The food isn't tasty here.
- Rules: There are a lot of rules in the college for all students.
Remarks :
I appeared for JEE Mains and got selected in Silicon University in Computer Science and Engineering through OJEE. No there are no rounds. The college has a good placement record. And Silicon is very good for its academics.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was interested in coding as well as the core computer subjects so I chose this branch. We have highly qualified faculties who are always eager to help and guide us. In every semester we have 2 exams: Mid-semester which is of 25 marks and end-semester which is of 60 marks, rest 15 marks is teachers assessment.
Internships Opportunities :
No. Till now I haven't opted for any internships. I may opt for internships in my 8th semester. Often companies visit the college after the 6th semester to hire students for Practice School, a 6 month internship program.
Placement Experience :
For placements, a student must have completed his/her 6th semester. Some of the recruiters visited this year are Accenture, Squbix, Surya Software, Aptus Data Labs, LTI MindTree, Rashmi Group, CoreEL, etc. The Highest package last year was 32.5 LPA grabbed offcampus from Flipkart. The average package is 5 LPA. The percentage of students getting placed is more than 80%.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Tution and institution fees of 150000. Those who avail hostel facilities they pay 33000 including stay and electricity. After that we have summer course for which we pay 5000-7000. And every month we have about 5000-6000 for the canteen food which varies according to the type of food, veg or non-veg.
Campus Life :
We have 3 fests in a year. The main cultural fest known as Zygon, the musical fest Rhythmnova and the fest for hostelites Cultural night which are conducted in Feb-Mar, Dec and May respectively. In library one can avail books for an entire semester or for a fortnight. We have a badminton court, basketball court, football , cricket ground, etc. We have different clubs and societies like IEEE, ISTE, Entrepreneurship Development Cell, Meta Academics, Photography Club, etc. for all students.
Hostel Facilities :
We have 2 canteens: Veg Canteen and Non-veg Canteen. The food isn't tasty. Registration for hostel is done at the start of even semester. We are charged a total of 33000 for non-ac rooms which includes stay, water and electricity.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
