- Infrastructure is okay but I love the campus. The vibe around the campus is top notch. The faculty is also great.
Remarks :
The college is in North campus and it was my dream college from the school time. This college has the biggest ground of whole DU. The faculty is also very great. And yes I had to clear CUET before getting admission in this college. But tension not there were no group discussion or interviews. My cut off was 467 and I was shortlisted in the first round.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I had intrest in history from the very starting that's why I choose history hons as a course. The faculty that teaches me are most of them senior professor and the teaching method is great by using plt and visiting historical sites they made history very interesting. Exams are only once a semester means twice a year. Difficulty level was 8/10
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees got raise per year of 1000 last year it was 23180 this year it is 24180 and I have no idea about the sc, st or obc fee structure. Scholarship available for few students who have obtained more than 90% in the 12th exams. The course revalid from course to course my course we is 24000 whereas commerce course fees is 26000. The tuition fees included in the actual trees structure of the college itself.
Campus Life :
This college organize its annual fest every year and that's Lashkara Who one of the best best of du. This face is organised in the month of March every year by the student union of our college. The availability of books is issued by library of of college, we have to submit our icard for that and then they issue the book for maximum 1 week and then if you want book for more than one week we have to reach to the book after one week again. There is a special sports room for the sports student and gym also is for sports students in our college. There are many extra curricular activities for example there is theatre society and dance society and singing society in the campus. There are many social groups and clubs that are run by student themselves few of them are- Lakshya the enabling unit of sgtb Khalsa College, swarang the music Society of college, the business Cafe and many more.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
