The fact that this college lies in the north campus of Delhi university made me fill this college as one of the options in my preference list selection . Talking about the admission process so no gd or interview was there but yes CUET(common university entrance test) was conducted in which i scored 720/800 .
so as mentioned earlier , this college is one of the top colleges in DU and talking about my course personally which is BCom so i chose it because i completed my 12th in the field of commerce and wanted to pursue my career in finance sector so i think it would really help me out for that and talking about course curriculum so it’s a 3 year course in which i will get a program degree in the bachelor of commerce and after that if i wish i can opt for an extra 4th year to get a degree of honours in the same major . Faculties of this particular core are one of kinds and are flawless . The course fee is totally justified by the faculty and teachings.
No , i personally haven’t applied for any internship but yes in future i am seeking to intern in companies like REDBULL or STARBUCKS . Platforms like INTERNSHALA , Naukri . com also help students a lot in getting internship opportunities and placement recommendations after or in between their pursuance of degree .
Placements from our college lies between a average of somewhere around 50-60% and a student needs a minimum of 7.5 CGLA to be eligible to sit in the placement drives . Companies like Delloite , KPMG are regular campus recruiters from our college with an average package of ?7LPA!.
Life is overall good in campus . Many engaging societies like COMSOC , 180DC , CDF , LAKSHYA , IGNITE and many more make a students life much more that just studying . Infrastructure of our college can be questioned as it’s a bit old and not top notch but yes it is decent without any flaws . The annual fest of the college is LASHKARA which takes place every year and catches eyes of many students across DU. I personally don’t live in the hostel but a PG in Hudson lane for which i pay ?14000 and i think it is justified by the facilities and location it provides .
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
