Dislikes
- There is no good facilities of toilet, students and canteen staff use same toilet In which mostly the staff enters the toilet and the toilet mostly remains dirty, whose cleaning is always going on
- Classes after classes sometime we don't even get free time for lunch . Canteen facility also not good
Remarks :
I had given cuet an entrance exam for taking admission in any regular college after 12 NTA conducts this exam every year by that you can get your dream college I didn't choose this college,I have been given this according to my preference and based on my performance in the exam , I have been given college according to my score I have pursuing regular college so there is no cut off or merit criteria, simply I had prepared for cuet at home without any coaching and then I got this college .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have an intrest in history and also some future plan that's the reason I have opt this course, One of the best faculty of the du , faculties members are very supportive and always on time in the class they all have done their PhD and they teach very well. Exams take place semester wise and question on the exam are not that much difficult in minimal difficulty level is little high then average.
Internships Opportunities :
There is no specific internship in this course you may get internship when is has been offered for everyone you can work with the students of top ( north campus) college of du, vice-chancellor of du offered this internship last year where you have to give interview by that you would have been selected.
Placement Experience :
Cvs doesn't offer any placement for history honours, after done your graduation there are several options where you can make your future like teaching, archeologist, professor, can prepare for any government exam .
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
You have to pay fee yearly wise approximately 14,000 and examination fee per semester 1600 ,and also College provides few scholarship for those who are not able to fee .there are no extra charges like tution or any others fees . Also not benifit for any cast like sc / st / obc each have to pay same amount of fee
Campus Life :
Infrastructure is okay okay not that much good,there are so many societies where you can find people like you ,same intrest and also enhance your skills and talents. There are so many fest which take place yearly,there are so many books in the library you can find course books as well as other book ,also they have collection of rare books library is good you can get book very easily, A big ground where mostly football match took place.
Hostel Facilities :
There is no facilities of hostel or mess ,cvs doesn't provide any hostel facility, there are so many pg or rented room nearby the college in walking distance with ,you can get pg in affordable price or you can take flat in share with your fellow classmates.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
