Likes
- The things I do like about my college and the faculty is that the academics of the college is good , the teaching staff is also nice. they do teach nice and help students is they are facing any issue in studies.
- Sports faculty is good they provides nice training also provides refreshments for all the players after the training session and also inspired students to participate in tournaments.
- Three of the society NCC, NSS and sports hold good ranking in the campus.
Dislikes
- What I dislike about my college, infrastructure, faculty, campus Life is there infrastructure is too old in comparison with other colleges and specially to the north campus. Which really need to change.
- There is lack of hygiene in college washroom , the canteen food is not worthy they sell unfresh food . College need to look after on such issues.
Remarks :
I was looking for a girls college and want to pursue in economics honours courses , the nrf ranking of this college influenced my decision to take admission in this college over any other colleges. The admission process was completed through online process. The criteria for this course was to have a aggregate score in one language+ one domain from the respective stream + general test and mathematics. I got selected and got this college in the first cut off list .
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum, academic and faculties is good. The qualifications of the faculty is impressive and there teaching methods are also good . They describe everything very well . And also support students is they are facing any issue in study . This course curriculum has seven paper three subjects are the core subjects of the course and the remaining four subjects are skill enhancement course, value added courses AEC and generic subject in which students required good marks for the cgp . The difficulty level is moderate to hard.
Internships Opportunities :
I didn't opted for any intership yet as I just entered in second year but yes there placement cell provides internship for second year, third year and to final year students. The company which hired students from the college are such as acamerade , internslite and younity which offers students to complete there internship from there company.
Placement Experience :
The eligibility criteria for placement is to attain a bachelor degree and extra skills enhanced courses along . The placement rate is just average the minimum of 10% students of the college got placement throughput the year . There placement support is not so good just on average. Students needs to look after for a good job by their own.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees which I paid yearly was 25000 rupees which includes every facilities such as admission fees, registration fees, medicle facilities and gym fees , college maintenance, faculty fees and examination fees also. There is relaxation in fees structure for Sc and st category Student. There are scheme to support students financially and also give them opportunity to attain the scholarship amount.
Campus Life :
My life at campus was full of different experiences and was also exicteful for me . There are several kinds of fest organised every year. There is one annual cultural fest held in college lehren in month of February and March. Availability of book and journal in college is also nice. Every department books are available in the library. Everyone in the college can use the library facilities and also use reading area and desk and issue books by using there college I'd card. The dance club and nukkad natak club runs by the students themselves only.
Hostel Facilities :
My college doesn't have the hostel facility it's still under construction the students needs to look after on pg and flates near the college campus by there selves . The hostel is in construction since four passed years and still not ready for the inauguration.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
