College expectations vs reality

- Faculty are cooperative and helpful and understanding towards students needs.
- Campus life with inclusive environment and good nature students
Dislikes
- Infrastructure can be more good with atleast lift facility for students facing medical issues or even teachers
- Be a little more hygienic in terms of strict litter policy and toilet cleaning and maintenance of same.
Remarks :
College admission was given on basis of cuet score. It was easy as I had scored good marks in cgpa. The good aspects of college are the inclusive environment from faculty and their polite nature excluding some exceptions other than that on sbad thing about college is its hygiene in basis of maintenance of toilets being a girl college they should be attentive on this matter.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course due to my interest in literature. My experience enhanced more due to good , experienced , qualified and cooperative faculty. Their teaching method is also very good ensuring students understanding. The difficult we face is due to long answer writing which can be managed of the reading time of 15 mins returns making us easier to managed and structure answers for next 3 hrs.
Internships Opportunities :
Never opted for internship. Due to no transparency for any such opportunities for students. Such opportunities are gained by students through connections of friends from other colleges. Like pehchan street school.
Placement Experience :
Though there is placement cell no high paid job or opportunities as such have been seen . Students show lack of encouragement towards this cellsame goes for college management they also don't pay attention to same.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee structure is quite easy on basis of yearly. But it has additional charges as we have to pay twice a year i.e. fee each year in semester as examination fees depending upon credits of your course and choosen subjects. Though their is fee waiver available but college does not have transperant structure for same
Campus Life :
Cultural fest name of college is Leherein. It's very engaging experience with great pomp and show. College organise departmental fest too. There is enough space for books and journals and it's easier to access them plus e Library access is of great help. College offers many other spots like boxing badminton etc. it has also has its own gym . And clubs in college are equally active with different activities organised in month. Different clubs like gender sensitization other such helps students to be more expressive .
Hostel Facilities :
No there is no hostel despite being girls college. Thre are 3 canteens Nescafe,mother dairy and one main for food . Everything is good but some of the time we experience low quality in food served by canteen likey friend ate tea leaves in her chole chawal plate and many other such experiences had been recorded.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
