- No nearby big market and less travel options
- Private vehicles not allowed inside campus.
Remarks :
I got selected through CAP process and had a personal interview. First step was clearing CAT. After having interview of 10 different colleges I decided to join IIm Sirmaur third generation IIm. Admission process was smooth.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are very helpful, they in depth knowledge of their subjects and are available outside classes also. Different teachers have different teaching styles but every teacher try to keep the classes as interactive as possible.
Internships Opportunities :
There are wide variety of roles being offered. Across different departments from HR, Marketing, Finance to consulting. Approximately 80 companies visited last year for summer internship and around 70 for final placements.
Placement Experience :
We have plenty of companies coming for summer internships. Companies start visiting for Summer internship in early August and continue till each and every student is placed. Placement also start by mid August and training program are held to make students ready.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Fee increase every year My fee is only 800000. It includes hostel, tution, books and Library and software subscriptions. Mess fees has to be paid seperately but it is quite affordable but you can't opt-out of the message fee it is mandatory to pay.
Campus Life :
All the facilities are available in the library we get free subscription of different softwares for academic purposes. Regular sport event are conducted to keep campus life entertaining and Sierra is our annual fest.
Hostel Facilities :
Single bed and room accomodation are provided to each and every student and message is also spacious we have two canteen in campus. Food quality is good. Hostel room is allocated randomly There is seperate hostel for married couples.

Placements are decent. Eligibility is typically at CGPA 6.0 or higher. Recruiters include TCS, Infosys ,Oracle, Wellsfargo etc.Highest package this year reached around 3 crores per annum as it was a foreign offer.

I choose ba as I needed a bachelors degree to pursue llb . All the faculty members are highly qualified and well educated and every teacher has their own teaching method. The exams are conducted annually for BA which is not very difficult

placement are good many cse students have package in crores i think cse nad ece branch is good but other branch package is around 10 lakh if i would suggest students i suggest go for cse or ece branch because in the era of artificial intelligence nad machine learning these two branches are booming and the package are also best in these branches you can also try for gate exam after the civil mechanical or electrical you can get jib in public plus private jobs

The placement opportunities are given by institute. There is a placement committee. A few visited recruiters are ICICI,HDFC, DE Shaw, Deloitte, EY, etc. the average package of IIM sirmaur ranges around 14-15 LPA. All students get placed and is supported by institute.

I got this based my JEE advanced rank. The faculty student ratio, typically between 15:1 and 20:1, allows for personalized attention and interaction. Faculty are well qualified for the job and their teaching methods are very good. The exams have a typical timeline and they are quite challenging to pass.
