- The faculty is one of the college’s strongest points—professors are not only knowledgeable but also genuinely invested in their students' success. They provide valuable insights and are always available for extra help, making sure no one is left behind.
- The management's commitment to maintaining high standards extends beyond academics. They have placed a strong emphasis on student welfare and development, regularly improving campus infrastructure and expanding student services. From counseling and career services to clubs and organizations, they have created an environment where students feel supported in all aspects of their college life.
Dislikes
- However, like any institution, there are areas for improvement. The administrative processes can sometimes be slow and frustrating, particularly when dealing with financial aid or class registration. Additionally, while the campus is beautiful, housing options can be a bit pricey, and availability can be limited.
- College hostel can be improved in quality, however management is good
Remarks :
It's not too much for a Professional course but a bit less fees can do well for students from middle class. However college meets up to the mark in quality and maintains its standard. So fees is justified.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I'm pursuing Civil Engineering and I've experienced great time in our college. We've our Tech fest named Ojas, it's a two day event where there is various events and competition including sports and cultural events. There is a number of clubs that organise various events.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, I had a Summer Internship and Vocational training at PWD Jashpur where they teached us about primary process of Road construction where we had seen scraping of Old road and also we've visited various Construction Sites .
Placement Experience :
One of the strongest aspects of BIT,Durg is its dedication to helping students secure valuable internship opportunities. Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
It's Approx 80k per year. However there's no scholarship provided by the college but Students can find scholarships from Government. A OBC friend of mine recieves approx 20k a year scholarship from govt of India similarly there are scholarships for ST/SCs also.

Whether you’re looking for a quick caffeine boost before class or a cozy spot to hang out with friends, the campus and surrounding area offer a variety of coffee shops that cater to every taste. The on-campus cafés are incredibly convenient, often located near the library or main academic buildings. These spots are perfect for grabbing a cup between classes or even settling in for a productive study session. The baristas are friendly, and the atmosphere is usually relaxed, making them popular hubs for both socializing and studying.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .
Genuine review of NIT raipur
Placement Experience :
Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

Placement Experience :
From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
