My not so great college
Likes
- I like the campus a lot with a lot of greenery
- I also love that their are many cafes and canteen in the campus.
Dislikes
- I hate when faculties do partiality between mbbs students and other department students.
- I dislike that in fest they don't call big artist and singers to perform.
Remarks :
No there were no such group interview or any exam for particularly my course although other course in my college does have written exam. I choose this college as I was looking for a good and big campus. And i want to go to medical based college only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because it covers many fields I would say as in name only biology and technology both meets. It can open many doors for me in the future. There usually occur two sesional and one end semester examination.
Placement Experience :
Our college placement and internship rate are low only not many company approach and also there is not that good package given. But the requirement of an Biotechnologist is increasing in outside world.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The per semester fee for all indian category student is 30,000 And for the residents of uttarakhand is 29,700 The scholarship is given the defence students, whose parents serve in army. And also scholarship is given for the students who have scored 80 or more than 80 percent in their board
Campus Life :
Usually in February or march a three days fest occur. In which first two days are for students and faculties to show their talent. In the last day people from outside are called to perform. Usually local artists from Uttrakhand only comes. Their is a small library in our department which have books in limited amount only.
Hostel Facilities :
No I have not opted for college but listening to my bachmates who have been living in hostel are fine with their experience their. The food is also good their. And the menu also keeps changing from time to time.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
