- Supportive and knowledgeable faculty members.

Dislikes
- Slightest high hostel fees and limited variety in off campus housing options
- there’s a lack of advanced resources or extracurricular diversity in certain areas
Remarks :
Factors that made me choose this college are :- 1. Has a bus facility so it's very convenient for me . 2. Fees is affordable 3. Addmission process is also easy. Very easy addmission process, no other criteria is required neither any exam or test is needed to take the addmission, very one who has 50% or more in there boards exam are eligible of the addmission.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose BCA because of my interest in technology, programming, and web design, which aligns with my skills in Python, AI tools, and web designing. It’s a step toward building a career in IT. My faculty are highly qualified, with postgraduate or doctoral degrees and often industry experience. They review us through class tests, assignments, practicals, internal assessments, project reviews, and semester exams, focusing on both theory and practical application. There are mainly three exams per semester two are sessionals and one is final semester exam and these exams are not that difficult.

Campus Life :
The main fest of SRHU is Himotsav, an annual cultural festival . Other events include Rangotsav, and the Uttarakhand Innovation Festival. There are many other functions and fest are organised in different different occasions throughout the year there is also an annual sports meet himotsav which lasts for 15 days . There a social group called unite which organises most of the events and fests it is run by the students with the help of faculty .
Hostel Facilities :
the hostel mess offers a vegetarian menu, with eggs provided on certain days overall the quality is good . Students can apply for hostel registration during their course admission. The hostel fee is ?1,80,000 per annum for unmarried students and ?2,10,000 per annum for married students. Nearby localities such as Jolly Grant and Rishikesh offer rental rooms and PG.

Placement Experience :
Companies do come here for placements and many students get placed as well but there's always the student factor as not everyone deserves to be placed either. My seniors are getting placed at 8.7 to 40 lpa specially the mba courses are getting placed higher.

the placement support at DBS has been one of the best strongest aspects of my experience. the university regularly organized internship and live project, mock interview, aptitude training and industry interaction to prepare students for placements.
Underrated university for pursuing Management courses
Placement Experience :
To sit for placements, the students have to be in 3 semester. Few famous companies that came in for placements are HCL, Tech Mahindra, ICICI, ANZ, Infosys, Wipro, etc. The highest package this year went up to 40 LPA and average package was 8.7 LPA. Around 95% of students got placed this year. For me I want to work in corporate for a few years then I want to pursue my PHD side by side.

College have decent placement percentage which is ofcourse higher than other local colleges near by.Our college have avg package around 6LPA and every year big companies like TCS visit our college for recruitment offering good packages.

I am preparing for other services currently but yes the college do provide good opportunities for future, even the college has good record in placement for AME, BHM, BCA, PHARMACY courses. Majority of students apply for further studies in our course.

Agriculture department is all about Internships and we have good collaborations with various institutions and training labs for polishing the hands on practical. The college provide good opportunities of works. The departments like AME, BCA, IT, BHM has good placement record.

I would say the college really provides wide opportunities to the specialization courses, as I preferred to go for further studies, but my batchmates got placed in good environmental industries because of the Degree.

Placements are very good. Placement criteria is based on cgpa and student behaviour. Good cgpa and no back allowed you to sit in placement. Highest package is 1.24 cr and average package is 4lpa. About 60% students get placed per year from campus. Tech Mahindra, TCS, wipro, Deloitte HCL etc companies visited fir placement.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course mainly because I wanted to pursue marketing for quite some time as I am extremely extroverted person. The faculty here are pretty well qualified atleast the ones who have taught me they really take interest in making everyone interact and share opinions
