I went for Csab NEUT counselling where I found this college and after various research and discussion with others I put this college in my preference list. The factors that made me choose this college are firstly this is a government college and secondly the kind of fees structure that I can afford easily.
I choosed Electrical engineering in this college as the placement in this department Is 100%. According to NEP there are total 3 exams mid sem, end-sem and teacher assessment. Mostly teachers and students uses marathi language for communication or during interaction. In first sem they teaches basics and work on for development of skills .
You have to register yourself for various internships from the college and the placement and training cell go out through a procedure and after that you were alow for the internship. Where you learn about various mini or mega projects and also work on your skills which later help you during the campus placement.
After the 4th sem students are eligible for the placements. Companies like tata, godrej and various other ITs company visit during the placement. Every year around 200 companies visited and offers the jobs. The hisgest package is 22 lakhs and the lowest is 3.5 lakhs and the avg package is 5.9 lakhs.
There are total 7-8 categories for fees, for open category the amkunt is nearly 85000 per year and for sc/st it is around 4-8000 yearly. I got admission through J&k and other states in which my first year fees is 28917.
The college use to host annual fest every year in January or feb where students wear various kinds of costumes and take part in the completion. The college provide digital library and a reading room for the students along woth library cards where students provided with their academics and referal books. Also the college host general championship for the students who are interested in sports and also takes part in inter college or zonals in different sports or events. The college has 25 clubs and groups where they perform various activities. Recently the college is going to start separate innovation labs and startup labs for the students.
The hostel provides a medium size room where three student can stay easily. The students get provided with separate bed, chair, table and cupboard. In the hostel they were provided with Wi-Fi connections with different ID and passwords.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
