the best thing about this institute about its placements, most of the students gets placed every year and in electrical department its 100%. Course Curriculum Overview :
in civil engineering there are total six subjects in first sem where students learn about basics and develop their communication skills and asked to develop more skills according to their interest.also students can take part in various extra caricular activities and can join various clubs to developed and learn various skills.
Internships Opportunities :
you can register yourself for the internship from the college where you want to do internship after that the placement and training cell go through various procedure and if you are eligible then you are allow for the internship.where you can learn about mini or mega projects and develops your skills during your internship which helps during the placement .
Placement Experience :
after the fourth semester students are eligible for campus placement .various campanies like TATA,godrej,FIAT and many automobiles or it companies visited during the placement.around 100-150 companies visited every year . in electrical department the placement is 100% and highest package is 22 lakh and the lowest is 3.5 lakh.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
government college of engineering karad is an autonomous institute where you can see a good placement every year.I have got admission through CSAB NEUT from arunachal qouta in this category I paid 28000 rupees for firs year.for open category is nearly 85k per year,there are total 6-7 categories for fees the lowest one is 4k only.for admission in this college you have to clear MHT-CET exam or you can get direct second year adnission after diploma.
Campus Life :
the college host annaul fest every in jan or feb where students wear costume and various others programs related to arts and crafts was held.the college has digital library and a reading room.the college is going to start inovation labs,startup labs and a separate library for the students.the college hosts general championship for the students who are interested in sports also takes part in inter college or zonals.
Hostel Facilities :
the hostel fees is around 7k per year.a good medium size room is provided where three students can easily stay.along with that they provided with a separate bed,a table and chair,and a cupboard.the best thing about the hostel is they provide daily limited wi-fi for the students.you can apply for the hostel during the admission process after that a finalist merit list for hostel allotment.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
