There are several reasons i chose this particular college . a good reputation in our area. the process of admission starts as soon as CET results get published, and there are three CAP round . so, while i wanted to fill out the CAP round form for a particular college and branch, I had to show my preferences.
The course curriculum and other academic activities in college are pretty commendable. the college conducts frequent workshops and seminars on career guidance which indeed enriches our learning. i chose computer science first, but due to my CET scores, i got electrical engineering instead. Our college provides campus placement with eligibility criteria of at least 60% in 10th, 12th, and B.Tech. initiallly, an 8 CGPA was mandatory which has now shifted to possession of all the skills required to get a job done.
My college fees for the course of electrical engineering are RS 110,000 per year. However, scholarships are being provided to the all casts like SC, NT, EBC and other categories of the people, for which the actual fee is only RS 4000 to 5000 per year for me. this fact makes higher education accessible for me.
Campus life in my college is rich and enhanced by the annual Gandiya festival during navaratri and ganesh chaturthi which has elements of dancing , singing and drama. The infrastructure provided by the college is excellent, having well-equipped classrooms and comprehensive library.
if you have a linking for staying in a hostel, the mess generally provides better food. the standard quality may vary. the menu is designed to suit different tastes however there should be more sonsistency.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
