Likes
- The faculty was excellent . They were very supportive and friendly in every field of our work.
- The students who need much preparation for their exams and particular subjects the remedial classes for them were held after the college time .
Dislikes
- The infrastructure of canteen or cafeteria was not good the AC must be installed in it . According to the size of students, the sittings are not available properly.
- The other one is that there must be technical and practical knowledge provided to the students regrading their course but this is less here.
Remarks :
This college didn't demanded any of the cut offs and entrance tests. When i came to this college with mother for the admission perspect one of the head incharge gave counselling to me regarding the course and the fees. Then it seem affordable and the environment of college seems good then i decided to take admission there.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I decided to opt this course when i was in 12th. I decided that this course will provide me particular knowledge abt various banking and company sectors. The qualification of the faculty is very high. All of them are P.HD or postgraduate in their study fields and they are well educated. The term exams held after 6 months. Before the final exams the house tests were held for the preparation of the students.
Internships Opportunities :
There were internship opportunities available with my college but due to some issues my class got the virtual internship from nippon life asset company . Here the study about mutual funds, banking and insurance were learnt.
Placement Experience :
There are many on and off campus placements were conducted . I was kf commerce department many companies like millenium school, tata consultancy, Pramerica insurance companies were there to hire students for the job. They were providing highest package of 4 lakh per student . They were hiring business development manager, admission counseler, insurance sales executive and so on. About 65% of studnets get placements there rest of the students get after their study completion.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As i belong to general i didn't received any concessions on my half yearly fees. It seems affordable to me when i came to know about the fees. The batchmates from SC ,ST abd OBC category got concessions in their fees because colleges provide benefits to these categories. One of my friend got concession after paying the fees and whole fees was refunded to her.
Campus Life :
The library is vast every book and journal needed is available here. The students who are not able to afford to buy books from market they can get there after issuing from library. There are extra curricular activities held at college. Some of the sports events, fashion events, rangoli competitions ,quiz competition and so on. There were clubs of the different departments like commerce club, Rotaract club some camps were held too like blood donation camps . The youth festivals are conducted every year . Many students participate in them and gi to different Colleges and universities to perform and get prizes . These were held in the November.
Hostel Facilities :
No didn't opted for a hostel. I am local and not living far from college so that's why I don't know the process of the hostel. But one of my classmate opted for hostel , i went inside the rooms . The infrastructure of these were average.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
