Dislikes
- Extension in new admission dates that results in delay in sem exams dates compared to other colleges with same course
- Very difficulty in interaction with the classmates of the same batch.
Remarks :
The admission process of the distance learning of University of Mumbai was very easy and understanding. It was an online admission process, the process was of not at all confusing steps, uploading the documents was also easy , the payment method was also very safe and easy to access, and they also extend the dates of the admission fire those who where unaware and etc. there were no entrance exam or cut off for the admission of FYBA . It was a one shot go process. You even get many other options for the courses.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have choosen this course out my choice. And choosing this course from the University of Mumbai was a good decision as I get flexible time to study and my other circular activity, the faculty also provide many you time to time notices and circulars regarding the exams, mock tests, syllabus etc ( you just have to be very updated with the respective group channel made on various platforms such as telegram, whatsapp etc or on the official website) . The level of difficulty of exam is not so tough fr. Exams takes place in every 6 months at provided centers . You will know the center after downloading the hall ticket which will be provided few days before the exam. This process is also easy. You just have to keep your user id and password accurate.
Internships Opportunities :
No internships provided as fas I know. There are no internships programs mentioned or provided anywhere in the (CODE) program of distance learning in University of Mumbai. If any they would inform in the provided groups of telegram, WhatsApp etc
Placement Experience :
The University of Mumbai is a distance learning program (CODE) as a distance learning program it does not provide any campus placement. Personally my plan was for code program just for FyBA but the delay in semester exams makes it for me difficulty in taking admission for syba on time in different college. Distance learning is a slow process in my experience compared to other colleges. No soon the results of FYBA would announce the admission of other colleges might almost get close so I may have to adjust in distance learning (code) till my final year maybe.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The exact amount of fees I paid for FYBA was 5882/-Good for working students or of busy schedule people who want to persue degree but have no time for college. Many negative aspects which I've personally faced are you don't have one 2 one mentor support, problem in making personal groups of same batch no interaction with any classmate as we are almost anonymous to eachother, we have to be continuously updated by checking websites,very often postpone in admission process and starting of academic year, delay in sem exams compared to other colleges , and the positive aspect is they provide many groups that we have to figure and find out, provide books(study material) from their branches which is included in anual fees structure, remotely learning, no 75% attendance (almost zero attendance), we get flexible time for study etc. the staff in the branches of University of Mumbai are humble , calm and helping no doubt. Very affordable to get degree compared to normal colleges. Hope this helps.
Campus Life :
As this is a distance learning method (CODE) you don't have regular lectures, and campus. There are centers provided for the collection of study material provided and help support if needed. They also provide helpline number which is mostly in my case they say you have to visit the center for query resolve or simply no one picks the call.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
An industry focused learning experience

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
