The college has over all the great reputation in Mumbai and it is said as the best commerce college it is specifically only for commerce students . There are no such admission exams. There is a cut off for special cell financing courses but for b.com if you completed your 12th in same college there is no such cutoff for students.
I choose this course because I come from a commerce background and I wanted to do my carry or in accounts and wanted to further do my career in masters in finance. Faculties are well educated some of them are doctors they did PHD etc.
As such I have not opted for anyone trip but the college does offers internship programs some are paid some are not paid. But college does have some kind of information they circulate in the groups so student can join that.
The eligibility criteria for placements are having 10 cgpi in their last year. The students should also be included in various kinds of social clubs and should be very active in his whole graduation career. The recruitors which visit the colleges are Asian paints, Tata consultancy services, and many renowned. My plans after getting degree is to do my masters in finance.
Early fees is around 23000 and the full course fees is around 70000 and there are also scholarships and pre shits for women and also there is a concession for reserved quota's such as SC OBC and ST NT.
The college life is very good. College arranges various kinds of workshop extra curricular activities in the campus. They are various social groups clubs for students to enrol in. There is a special library for books .
There is no hostel for students. As there is no such kind of hostel thing the mess is also not there but there is a canteen for students to have their food. The locality has arrangements for students living.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.
engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.
there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
