- I like the curriculum followed by this college. As it is very good to not have semester exam. And the mid exams are conducted every one month. And the other thing which I like is teaching methodology of the faculty. The campus is life is ok. You should expect good campus life. The college is situated at the border of Andhra Pradesh. So there are no places to visit during holidays.
- The infrastructure of the college is very good. As the classes are provided with projectors and Ac's. The lab equipment is also good. This college has 2 labs for ECE students where u can find most of the equipment for your experiments or projects.
Dislikes
- As I told before the campus life is not good. And there are no proper grounds to play. The infrastructure is also like ok. Not that much good. And I told before also that the food is also not good.
- I think the fests are not good. And also there are limited number of fests in this college. The girl to boy ratio is also very less. And the people mostly here are telugu people. The north students are less here.
Remarks :
I have choose this college because of the curriculum followed by this college. And I have choosen electronics and communication engineering branch, because I am interested in electronics. And to get a seat in this one should clear jee mains. The students need to get a rank below 50 thousand to get a seat in this college. To prepare for jee you ne need to join in an coaching institute. The cut off is different for different category students. The students who belong to general category must get a percentile of minimum of 97% in order to get a seat in this college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum followed by this college is good. As there are no end semester exam for students. There will be 3 mid term exams. One mid term for every one month. The faculty teaching here are graduated from top iits and some are graduated from international Universities. The difficulty level of the term exams is moderate. But there will be quizzes and surprise quizzes in addition to the term exams and also lab exam will be there at the end of the semester.
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in 2nd year I didn't opt for internship. The students must find an internship on their individual. The college didn't provide any internship opportunities. The students must apply online for any internship. But some companies will come to our college to provide internship opportunities for few students. Every one must do their btech project which is in their 3rd year. They will add much weight to your resume.
Placement Experience :
The minimum gpa has to be 7.5 for students to participate in college placements. The top recruiters are TCS and some other companies. but the companies like Google and Amazon and Microsoft also come to our college to recruit some students. The highest package is around 50 lakhs for the year 2024. And the average package is 12 lakhs. The placement percentage is nearly 90 percent for the year 2024. And my plan is to do ms in uk after my graduation.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual tution fees of this college is nearly 3 lakhs and caution deposit is around 15 thousand and the hostel and mess fees is around 80 thousand. And the medical fees is around 2600. The fee is same for all category students. The students studying in this college can avail scholarships provided by central or state government. But they should meet the required criteria. And there are no scholarships provided by the college for merit students. The name of the scholarship is pm yasasvi for OBC and EWS category students. Which is provided by the Central government.
Campus Life :
The campus life is good. I recommend to the students who are coming to this college to keep low expectations on campus life and fests and other extra curricular activities. As there are only 2 to 3 fests a year. The annual fest which is named as Abhisarga will be conducted in the month of March. The fest named utkrishta is conducted in the month of November. Every year the intra iiit sports spectre is conducted. And the extra curricular activities are less. There are many clubs for students to join. But many of the clubs are related to cse branch.
Hostel Facilities :
Every student must opt for hostel as there is no Dayscholar in this college. The hostels are good. But the mess food is south Indian food. The mess food is good for lunch. But at the dinner time the mess food is not good. The hostels are not well infrastructured. They will provide a bed and a cupboard for students. There is no need to apply for hostel. Students who got admission in this college. For all the students the hostel will be provided by the college.

Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
