IIIT SriCity good for placement

- College classroom as they are fully furnished with AC in all classroom
- Acedmics are very good giving hands on experience of industry.
Dislikes
- Gym is not good of our college as it didn’t have all equipment
- Outside infrastructure is not very good but also not that bad you can say
Remarks :
JEE mains score is needed for admission. Also placement is one factor which made me choose this college over other as its placement is increasing incredibly over past 3 years. Its cutoff is increasing over last years .
Course Curriculum Overview :
Up to 2022 IIIT Hyderabad is mentoring of iiit SriCity due to which course curriculum is well designed for students which gives us hands on as well as industry level experience of DSA and web development. The faculty are also very knowledgeable almost all faculty have done their graduation or phd from IITs . Now there is 2 term exam which is always according to almanac provided.
Internships Opportunities :
I am in 3rd sem only that why I didn’t have applied for any internship as of now .
Placement Experience :
On campus placement drive are there as well as internships are provided. Eligibility criteria of on campus depends on company visiting but it is good to have more than 8 cgpa . Motors , Amazon , flipkart, big basket , etc are company that has come to college. Last year highest package is 1.2 car and average stands for around 23 lpa. Around 90 percent of students are getting placed who are eligible.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In IIIT sricity there no compensation based on category. All students need to pay same fees irrespective of category. For 1st year in 2023 tuition fees is 150000 which increases 5000 rupees every semesters along with 20000 rupee for mess and 20000 for hostel . For 1st year there is a caution money of 15000 which is refundable at the end of the course. Also we need to pay 2000 for medical fees every year once
Campus Life :
Abhi Sarah is over cultural festival conducted in march wheareas Utkrishta is techno-cultural fest conducted in November. There is library for all books and journals. Classroom are well developed which is one of most good thing in our college with AC in every class and lab as well. We also have our sports fest of college in October . Our college has more than 8 technical club and also non- technical club as well
Hostel Facilities :
There is no option for day scholars in our college. All students are provided with hostel room . The room has one chair , table, almirah , bed , windows, with curtains. The mess food is equally good for all students inspired from IIT tirupati

Placement Experience :
Those students who are in 5th semister are eligible for campus placements. Around 70-80% students are placed every year in top reputed companies with decent salary. I received placement offer from TCS . That was because of placement cell of Ashoka.

The campus placement is really good . Most of the students get placed in small or big company at last the moto is to have a job not focusing on salary where the salary does not matter. above 75% is the eligibility to sit in the campus placement drive if the company give their eligibility criteria or else no.

Considering current job market the Placements and job opportunities are satisfactory with mass hiring companies such as Accenture, Infosys and Capgemini being the highest bulk recruiting service based companies where 20-30 students get placed out of a class of strength 70, students are asked to register in their Third year for placements , The eligibility criteria is to not have any active backlogs and ready with structured resume though students are filtered with their CGPA , they will be rounds of aptitude and problem solving and having good DSA background will help a lot . The Highest packages is from Infosys which give 16+ LPA to students with advanced DSA knowledge but majority are placed between 4.5 - 6 LPA . Many students opt for higher studies by preparing for competitive exams or use their strong alumni network to get referrals are big Tech companies.

The average annual hostel fee is around Rs. 48,000 per student (or roughly Rs. 3,000 - 4,000 per month.The campus offers separate hostels for boys and girls with furnished rooms. Students note that the rooms are kept tidy, well-lit, and offer options for both single and shared occupancy.

In my college,the highest package is 35lpa and lowest package is 2lpa. Many companies was visited to my college for placement like tech Mahindra, Infosys, auto desk. Coming to the placements, their was many competition to get the offer.
Good infrastructure but needs better faculty.

Students with cgpa greater than 9 are considered first for placements indirectly. They will get more companies. And there will be bulk hiring for most of the students. TCS , Cognizant etc will come . And I feel the placement training team CRCS will train the students mainly competitive programming . Because they focus more on this .Also they will teach you each and everything ranging from how to write the recruitment exam to how to attend the HR interview. Even if you want to go for higher studies, they will guide you through it. The average package is around 10 LPA. And the highest is 50 LPA. Most of the students are placed through the University placements itself.

Students generally are eligible for placements after completion of 3rd year. Top companies like amazon, Accenture, Infosys, paypal, TCS, etc offered placements last year with offers in range of 5-15 . Highest package is 44 LPA and average package is 9 LPA. Percentage of students placed is in the range of 70%-80%. I am planning to prepare for Bank exams after completion of graduation.
