The factors made me choose this college was , the college belongs to my locality also the ambience is quite good and the college provides a wide range of courses and efficient to provide expected facilities for students. Despite the enrollment process is quite easier, the admission is based on previous academic scores, no need to prepare for any interview or written test , minimum 50% score is eligible for enrollment
I choose the course because of my own interests and capabilities. As per my annual experience in the college the staff is really generous, kind , hardworking and well qualified to give students subsequent guide and knowledge. Also the teaching method is quite comfortable and sophisticated. Apart from it, timely tests are arranged for better preparation of university examination. Before the university examination students has to give mid term exams twice and basic class based tests.
I haven't opted any internship. As I am enrolled in my course from one year, so I'm trying my best to get better scores in order to seek for better opportunities in future. The college don't really help in getting internship they only tend to guidw students , so students has to make own efforts for this
One of college's bad aspect is they don't help for any placement or job opportunities. After completing the course , the students has to make his own efforts if they want to find a job or want to go for further studies. The college may just give suggestions and guide for the next step. Presently I am trying to achieve good grades in my course in order to hope for a better internship.
Annual fees approximate 24,000 per year which includes 10,000 academic fees +2000-2500 examination fees per semester (for general category) ? For SC/ST categories Scholarship is available with upto 70% fees benefits. Per semester fees would be 2500-3000 including examination fees + academics
First of all, a bad aspect of college is less focus on fest and extracurricular activities. The name of events as extracurricular activities are fresher's party , farewell and annual athletic meet. The college should try to arrange more range of events. Apart from it, the academic facilities are quite good, all the anemities are available in classrooms. A library with impressive ambience and features provided for students with range of books related to their courses and academic field.
I have not opted for a hostel but despite I can tell the infrastructure and facilities in hostel is pretty better, meals for the day is provided by mess and the quality of food is quite good. Apart from it, an impressive range of food items are provided in college canteen. Locality is affordable to rent a room or PG.

To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.
Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc
College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys, tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year
Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.
The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement. There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
