- About the college, i mostly like the overall vibe of the students and teachers and coming to the campus it's not that big, it's just a small builiin brigade road. But the crowd is nice
- The faculty members are so friendly and approachable
Dislikes
- The main thing i dislikes about the college is the campus environment and the college ground
- The college ground and the sports facilities are soo poor
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college are the reputation of the college,career opportunities, Location, Hostel facilities, Extracurricular activities etc.. The admission process was pretty simple, first we'll do an application after that they'll conduct an exam and people who are selected from the exam will fo for group discussion and those who all are selected from that will go for the personal interview. I didn't do much preparation, i just attended all these with the knowledge i had.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this couse because of my interest in Business field , career flexibility,skill development, Foundation for my MBA. The faculty and the teachers are well qualified most of the teachers are phd scholars and reasearchers in specific fields
Internships Opportunities :
I haven't opted for any internships right now. It is actually better to find internships by your own than by waiting for the college to give out forms for internships many online platforms are nowadays available in which you can apply for internships
Placement Experience :
The placements are not that bad as during the 2nd year there is Goldman Sachs intake, this internship offers around 70k , otherwise talking about placements the overall cgpa should be above 8 As my plan is to persue MBA directly after the course and i am not focusing on the placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fee is about 1,70,000 Additional 8000 for extra mandatory course Registration fee is 5000 Parking fee per year 5000 There is some fee reduction for Karnataka board students and fee is bit more to international students
Campus Life :
Sjcc has a numerous fests and events throughout the semesters there buisness events are the Cipher, Festing season, chanakya which all are conducted by the josephite business club and other cultural event like kalotsav , dhwani which is an inter college event. And also annual sports meet called speil. Library in sjcc is well organised and technical, all the books are available on the college library , books for your academic development, self improvement and leisure are available at the library Sjcc gives a huge support to sports and helps in growing sportsmen the college has many national level football, basketball, cricket and hockey players some of the clubs in the college are JBC Media team NSS ELI Kannada sangha Rotaract club Outlaws etc..
Hostel Facilities :
The st Joseph's boy's hostel is about 1km far from the college that is about 10 min walk or 4min ride. The hoste food is actually not that bad, it serves both non veg and veg food , only breakfast and dinner is available during weekdays and lunch is only available on weekends. The overall hostel ambience and experience is pretty good , The registration for the histel is done online through the college website, it charges around 200 rupees for registration and it's done The hostel fee for 2 sharing for 10months is 1.26 lakh in which 20k is caution deposit which can be withdrawn at the end

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ
Course Curriculum Overview :
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
