I had heard about law faculty from my friends parents that if you want to pursue law this college ranks amongst the best as it is well recongnized. For the entrance we had to appear in an exam called CUET . This test comprised of English, Maths, Reasoning, and General Knowledge . Then a cut off is released by the college according to the overall performance of the students which decides whether you will get in or not
The course is very bast so you cant completely rely on teachers as each semester lasts for only 4 months that is not enough thus you will have to take care of your studies by yourself also to be immersive in the class as the subjects are very vast
I myself have done an internship at ASC Solicitors & Advocates which is an corporate firm situated at Jangpura. I got it my cold emailing several firms and advocates. I got a reply from them and then opted for an interview after which they offered me this internship. I learned a research and a little bit of drafting also which was quite helpful as it was only my 1st internship
The internship situation is bad in faculty law according to its name it does not provide its students fair chance to get an internship you will also have to rely upon yourself and your own connections to secure an internship and also the college does not provide NOC
they charge us an year fees of around 6500 and additional to that they twice charge us examination fees that is 1300 twice for both the semesters which may vary according to the semester your are studying in
The campus life is amazing as you know faculty of law lies in the north campus . Here you will find people from across the country which really helps you to associate with people outside your local area . There’s plenty of cafes and places to chill around the campus which helps you spending quality time with your friends and partners
IGNOU offers limited direct campus placement opportunities, but the degree is widely recognized and helps improve employability. Students mainly secure jobs through off-campus applications, competitive exams, or by upgrading their skills. The flexible learning system allows learners to work, prepare for higher studies, or pursue professional certifications alongside their course. IGNOU also conducts periodic placement drives through its Campus Placement Cell.
The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.
The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.
Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog
PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.
The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.
I am as of in starting of 3rd year. The internship options are quiet really well. They give you many companies to apply in. .
I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
