Khalsa college is very prestigious institution with rich history and several factors which makes it an attraction for the students like academic excellence as we know that the college has high academic standards and quality education across various disciplines. The college faculty is also very experienced and dedicated toward the success of student the college has strong connection to sikh culture and history which is appealing for students looking to immerse themselves in a rich culture it provides beautiful vampus with advanced technology including library, laboratory, sports etc which enhance the overall learning experience Alumni network which offers valuable connections and opportunities for current students in their future career The long has long standing reputation for producing successful graduates which can be motivating factors for students
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course of msc entomology is quite impactful and beneficial for the students who wantd to study about insect their effects Some the best point about the course are this course focuses on the insect biology, ecology, taxonomy and pest management. The course will help us to understand the development of insects their environmental impact and role in agriculture practices during research we get a chance to do work on research topics providing us practical knowledge and hands on experience . The research can make you proficient in both field work and laboratory techniques The facility is very experienced and knowledgeable in their subjects they are dedicated to help students and providing guidance which is beneficial for academic growth
Internships Opportunities :
No I didn’t opted for the intership program as my thesis we’re going on after the submission of my thesis i will be eligible for sitting in the internship program and many exams like net phd and job at many industries
Placement Experience :
The college has active placements cells that work to connect with students with potential employers they organise campus recruitment drives in which various companies visit campus to select students The placement cell maintains relationships with numerous companies across different fields which helps students to seek job opportunities To prepare students for job opportunities the college also conducts training sessions mock test and workshops these sessions help on enhancing soft skill and interviews techniques
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Im paying 2 lakh 40 thousand for my course but the college offers many scholarships to the students with highest percentage in the academics, students who cant afford the expenses, fatherless and sc st There are many more scholarships students for gurmukhi students

student community- college had diverse student bodies which fosters lively atmosphere. You will find students from every state n backgrounds which will help you to make friends and engage in different activities Clubs and societies - there are numerous clubs and societies for the students to join ranging from culture and literacy clubs to sports and environmental groups. These clubs organise various events and activities allowing students to pursue their interests and hobbies Events and festivals- college hosts several activities throughout the year including cultural fest like Raunak, youth festival etc, sports events, book fair and academic seminars

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
