- The college is good . The infrastructure is ok. Faculties are very good.
- Campus Life is awesome. Every person can enjoy the campus as there is cricket matches and football matches everyday. You can roam around the nearby market or one can go to the riverside which is just behind the college
Dislikes
- The administrative officers are rude even sometime towards the parents.
- There is no other club except IDA which is a disadvantage. Because we miss many opportunities to get along local people and their problems.
Remarks :
Each college has its pros and cons. This college is completely ragging free as the authorities are very strict. The academics is good. But the food of the canteen is quite bad. From November to December end even till the 2nd week of January one can get the feelings of meaning of college life. I mean ofcourse there will be classes but during those days we enjoy Hitech Cricket league,many cultural programmes, conferences. The annual function of our college 'CUSP' also occurs during these days. During CUSP we enjoy many sports such as badminton tournament, volleyball tournament, cricket tournament, sing dancing excetra. CUSP lasts for like 15 days. And the last three nights there is DJ Nights. But don't get too excited because exams are getting held in February. Exam section is quite strict. Ojee counselling is the only way to get to this college as it's a semi govt college. Scoring around 450 in neet will guarantee you a seat in there. And no there is no counselling in the college.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are mostly MDS doctors . Some of them are BDS only but they generally don't teach. The classrooms have no ac but the classrooms are digital classrooms. The teachers always solve the problems in the departments. The labs are well equipped. The patient inflow is not very great which is considerable considering that it's a private dental college. The exams generally occur in every 2months. There are 3 internals and one University exam.
Internships Opportunities :
No as I am in 1st yr currently I am not eligible for applying an internship. However the salary during internship varies around 10k. Which is not a very good salary,but students get to the clinical practice under supervision of Doctors
Placement Experience :
Many of my seniors got there placements in various hospitals with a salary of 35k to 40k. Some of them also started clinics. Which is a very good idea for practicing dentistry. The salary can go up to 1 to 1.5lakh after completing mds. But for clinical practice many choose to get a job or opened clinics. The highest package is the govt job which will guarantee you around 50k to 60k on state govt jobs and can go up to 80k in Central govt jobs. Almost everyone gets job after completing degree. The college itself provides a year of internship. For which the salary is very less. But during those internship dates many of the students get to do every kind of dental clinical practices.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fees is 3lakhs per year. If someone decides to stay in hostel the price varies from 95k to 120k from non AC to Ac rooms. There is no facility for single room. Each room will have 3 students. The development cost, transportation, lab charges, cultural fees will cost around 75k per year. But the lab fees which is refundable will be taken once as 25k. So the fees for tution and college developmental fees will cost 375k for 1st yr, otherwise it will cost 350k per year. The NRI seat will cost you 12lakh per year. There is no separate fees for any other categories. There are many govt affiliated scholarships one can get.
Campus Life :
CUSP , the fest of hitech dental college and hospital generally occurs between December and January which lasts upto 15 days. The newly opened Library has AC in it with great sitting area . You can find each and every book related to dental and mbbs course. There is also a faculty area in the college where the tutors can solve your problems. Hitech Cricket league and Hitech football league are the most celebrated sports of the campus. One can also participate in badminton, volleyball,tennis,chess,carrom and many more as there are designated places for every one of the game. There is an OCA ground inside out campus, to where many cricketers visit. Like kuldeep Yadav came recently. There are no special clubs except IDA in the campus. There is a cultural society which helps students.
Hostel Facilities :
I am a dayscholar . But my friends stay in hostel. As per the room each room will have 3 students with attached bathroom. The non AC hostel costs around 1lakh per year and the Ac hostel costs around 1.3lakh per year. The food of the canteen is not very good. But there is a food court area in the campus,where you can find every kind of delicious food.

After completion of this course go for national health mission recruitment In odisha opsc amo exam conducted many students were passed the exam from our college and got posted. You can go for many pharmacy company 100 percent of students getting placement

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Placement Experience :
Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

The placement scenario is quite good as most of the students get placed before the completion of course with a decent package. Average package is around 8lpa and the highest package till now is 60+ lpa.

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
