- Campus life ,- like yeah with my close freind surviving campus is not so hard
- Societies- we have wide range pf societies and they are pretty good
Dislikes
- Infrastructure- we have the worst infrastructure for commerce department government schools are better than this
- Faculty- only one teacher is good at teaching among three teachers
Remarks :
I had the choice to choose VIPS in IP university or Delhi university and NIRF rank 5 college was allotted to me so why would i miss that opportunity and placement cell here is really good for commerce field so it’s a plus point. Tho i put my college for upgrade to get north campus. I got ARSD in first round of CSAS i applied for upgrade but it never got upgraded lol maybe issue w my prefrence list i got 722/800 . And people got admission in unreserved w 706 . I was feeling disheartened but after knowing the people and pver experience it is bare able. I didn’t have any group discussion or interviews for admission tho i gave CUET as entrance .
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am pursuing Chartered accountant as a professional course along with my regular course so my first preference was BCOM PROGRAM so that i can take and contribute bare minimum time for the degree and pass the exams and can mainly focus on becoming a rank holder Chartered Accountant . Cause we all know a blank degree without any experience pr internships cannot get us any placements so CA and Bcom program regular degree was suitable for me and as far as exams are concerned i just got into the college and this is my first semester so I don’t know about the exams and their difficulty .
Internships Opportunities :
As i mentioned that students from third year get eligible for the internship and as i just got into college I don’t have not opted for internship i will opt for internship next year . And we have many internship opportunity available for commerce
Placement Experience :
We have a very active and working placement cell which provides us so many opportunities. I am gonna take part in the placement cell from semester 3 which is gonna be helpful for me and from third semester only students get eligible for internships so I’ll get placed at good gaints . Cause KPMG, Deloit , EY and dee shaw tcs and all these big companies come for hiring in our campus and average stipend offered is 12-14k by companies in commerce profile . Business analyst data analyst and graphics designer as well . So yeah we commerce students have good opportunity in the college
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So as per the fees structure this year in du for bcom it is approx 7500 ttn fee and like 1000 rs for caution fees registerstion fees at csas portal was 350 total =250+100(for ECA QOUTA) but didn’t give audition so got admission on merit only . There’s no management qouta in DU SO idk abt that . And there are many scholarships provided Du for obc st sc and qouta reservation for helps. One is some asha scholarship for low income household for free laptop and there is fee concession too as far as i know.
Campus Life :
Campus is fine . First when i used to see ARSD campus through metro I thought it was a small campus. But didn’t knew it was just half of it . The grounds the courts gyms canteens i cam to explore ot afterwards . We have library which has Air conditioner and E library where we can use computers which are luckily fast not slow like our school’s. We have a nescafe which serves good cold coffee and motherdairy for icecreams . Our canteen’s food is pretty good the chineese and snacks and affordable so it’s a good thing . 3-5 courts for different sports many societies. So it’s a balanced whelming experience
Hostel Facilities :
I haven’t opted for a hostel cause i am from Delhi itself so no need it takes me 45 mins to reach the college so it’s good. Satya niketan which is backside of the college basically 5 min walking have very high rents and conjusted rooms as heard from my batchmates . PGs in south extension and rajouri garden are spacious cheaper and better

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
