I wanted to pursue BBA LLB degree which is not available in many colleges. This college was in my priority list because of its landmark. The financial capital of India, Mumbai. The Bombay High Court is just 2 hrs away and i get to study business along with the law. NLAT was the exam
Course curriculum is made by professionals from the main campus in Mumbai. Faculties are not much qualified nor they have a good teaching experience except 3-4 faculties. The teaching method of 33% of faculties is not well. The timing of the exams are fixed and they occur in timely manner. Difficulty of paper is mid but checking criteria is strict.
I haven’t opted for internship yet but for third year students law crust recently took interviews for internships. The stipend was ?5000 per month. Many people from third and fourth year were placed in the internship program.
There is dedicated placement committee and placement office of the college. People work for placement committees and gets some company into the campus. Recently Law crust placed some students for 12 lakh package.
Yearly fee structure is 2.5 lakhs per year. No scholarship is available as the school os language based under the constitution so there is only quoted for Gujrati students. The fee hasn’t increased from two years but it is going to increase till 3 lakhs per year.
Social life is not at all good for ambitious students who are interested in the course. People are nit friendly at all. But the infrastructure is good. Events happen regularly. There are events in every Month. For Law school there is Atulya fest in February. Classroom infrastructure is good.
I haven’t opted for hostel of the college because it was too expensive. It costs more than the fees of the course. The quality of food and menu is good in hostel. There are other affordable hostels available in Kharghar. I stay in Flat just 700m far from college and for 2 people 1 bhk is 20k per month i.e 10k per month each. It seems affordable.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
