Likes
- The college is close to nature and very green, there are many scenics around to explore and to have a good time.
- The labs are well equipped with latest Technologies and can be used anytime.
Dislikes
- College lacks internet facilities,there are very few WIFI and the only network working around is AIRTEL which also doesn't seem to work in classes.
- The library lacks sitting space and only remains open till 10pm. It opens at 9am but one can't sit there to study until the college time goes by(that is 5pm) as students come there to talk and do mischiefs rather than study
Remarks :
You need to have Maharashtra domicile for this mode of admission and only then your Mhtcet score will be considered valid for this type of admission. You need to register for Centralized admission process round(CAP ROUND) organized by Maharashtra student. And can take admission through any of 3 general rounds or spot round. This mode of admission is valid for both Maharashtra domicile aswell as non domicile students. You need to have a fairly average jee score to get tech branches (above 82 percentile). There is no concession in fee for outside Maharashtra students,so they need to pay the full fee.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course structure has 3 type of evaluation techniques. In-semester exams Mid-semester exams End-semester exams Having weightage as 20,30,50 percetage as follows. Student need to gave a minimum of 40 marks to pass the subject ,and have 20 marks from (ISE+MSE) compulsorily. I am in computer science and business system branch, it includes both aspects that i needed. The technical knowledge from CSE branch and Management knowledge from MBA. It is sponsored and designed by Tata consultancy services (TCS) and has industry ready curriculum. The faculties are well qualified ,and some of them are From IIT's ,Nit's aswell and always ready to listen to feedbacks.
Internships Opportunities :
I am currently in Second year so dont have any internship faceoffs. But it is compulsory to do atleast one internship before graduating and mostly students get internship on their own by applying for roles off-campus.
Placement Experience :
The average placement percentage in tech branches is anywhere around 70-80% with packages varying from 3 lakhs to 10 lakhs oncampus. The eligiblity criteria for most companies is 7Cgpa along with 60% in 10th and 12th. The average package currently is 6.5 lakhs,and highest oncampus package is 10 lakhs. The highest offcampus package is 41 lakhs. Few renowned recruiters Tech mahindra Tcs Hsbc bank,etc

Campus Life :
Campus life is not as good as you will get in better cities like pune or bangalore as kolhapur is a chill city where everything shuts down at around 10pm. So you need to enjoy with your friends mainly ,but its very easy to settle down in environment as people are very helpful and friendly in and around campus. The fest name is Meraki ,and is conducted around February of each year. Its conducted on college ground itself. Last year ADITI SINGH SHARMA was invited in college for performance. It is generally of around 3 days. The books and journals are easily available in library and book bank facility is also available.
Hostel Facilities :
There are 3 hostels for girls in campus and 3 hostel for boys. The hostels are filled on first come first serve basis. KIT OLD Boys hostel(BOYS HOSTEL) This is situated inside the campus with yearly fee of 21000(3000 deposit). Only one category of room is available, that is 4-sharing room. Electricity fee is included in hostel fee. Each wing has comman washroom bathroom.Mess available with monthly cost of 2400 rs that includes lunch and dinner. Ganga boys hostel This is situated around 120 meters outside of college campus with yearly fee of 28000. This is on 3-shsring basis. Newly constructed and has better facilities like faster Wifi's and each room has washroom bathroom with limited accommodation of 45 students,No mess available Shahu boys hostel This is 80 meters outside college campus with yearly fee of 28000 and has same facilities as ganga hostel instead of the fact that this is on 4-sharing basis.No mess available. Same goes for girls hostel aswell(all 3 are inside campus)

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
