My College Experience
Likes
- Faculty - I like the teachers of first years as they are very supportive and there teaching is very good.
- Campus life - College have many events to enjoy. They are not on the level of other collges but they are good.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure- Many schools and colleges are in single campus. Our department don't have different building, 4 braches have just given one floor thats it. Less space computer labs and all.
- Campus life- To many local students doing their own things, fighting between events.
Remarks :
I was admitted through CAP round. Good aspects- Some faculties are good. Average placement opportunities. Bad aspects- Campus contains nursery to PG, everthing is fitted in the small campus. More teachers leave college due to lack of coordination with higher ups. Events are not good sponsored as a student we have to pay first money for events then college passes the bill.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Computer engineering is the trending branch in 2024. It gives you higher paying jobs. And I always wanted to be a techie guy so I have chosen this branch. Only two or three teachers of my branch are experienced teacher and the others are new recruits just joined. Faculty is average in qualifications they are just there to do job and not teaching. Exams are properly held and managed.
Internships Opportunities :
No i dont have opted for any internship. College did not provided opportunities for internship and even if we found internship by our own the College does not coordinate with it. Internship we have to find by ourselves.
Placement Experience :
Internship are not given by college. Placement are really big problem this 2 to 3 years but there are many big companies like accenture, IBM etc who gives offers upto 4.5 lakhs per year. These are the mass recruiters there are also startups and all.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly fees is 112646 but as I have EBC scholarship my fee is only 62646. Half of the fee is paid by government. The fee structure depends upon the caste and admission type. Sc, st, obc, ews, and open are the categories. Tfws is aslo available
Campus Life :
Our Antarnad event is in January or end of January. There are various days like traditional day, bollywood day etc and all is fun but its not funded properly. We have dandiya nights called Jalsa which is paid event. Freshers party is also the event for new comers.
Hostel Facilities :
Jayawantrao Sawant College of Engineering has only girls hostel. They did not have boys hostel. Boys have to search PGs outside the college and its very difficult to find a good one. The rents are proper accordingly to what the students live in main pune pay.

Placement Offers were Good on Records till now Collage has its own Placement Department. The Placement Department is operated by professionals. It aims at providing placement to students in reputed companies with handsome packages around 80% placement was done in our batch. All the students got chance to prove themselves in campus placements. Companies like Amazon, TCS, IBM, Make my trip, Amazon, flipkart, Infosys, HDFC, ICICI etc. visit the campus offers an average package ranges 3 - 4.5 LPA going on to Highest was 28 - 45 LPA Companies conduct interview sessions, GD, test for selection of students.
The Time I Had Spent in my College

Placement was Good as there is a placement cell in the college that looks on managing placement for students by inviting Companies from different sectors Companies like Amazon Deloitte, Accenture, Reliance, HCL, Hyundai, HDFC bank, YES Bank, Axis bank etc. These companies make a number of offers to students offers an average package ranges 3 LPA and highest was 28 - 32 LPA. Companies conduct interview sessions, practical test, GD for selection of students and students needs to qualify all rounds to get selected also Internship opportunities was provided by college to give students practical experience and to give knowledge. Internship was also provided by college to give students practical experience and knowledge about current changing environment.

Course Curriculum Overview :
i chose computer engineering because i was interested in the technical field and wanted to build my career in engineering. the faculty were qualified and helpful, and their teaching was a mix of thoery ,ppts and practical. term exams were conducted on time and the difficulty was moderate

Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities are not so widely discussed by our faculty. My plan after the program is to appear for ugc net exam and to become an assistant professor. The minimum salary for assistance professor post is approx 35000.

Placement Experience :
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.

Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
Reality of niat
Placement Experience :
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The number of companies coming for campus placements go down with each passing year. The companies that do come (TresVista mostly) are quite poor in terms of work ethic and payout methods. This year, around 40-45 students from the graduating batch got campus placement out of the 110-120 that applied.

Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
