The curriculum in general is nice with a lot of contemporary subjects such as Moot court clinical and Alternative dispute resolution clinical subjects. These subjects gave us a hands on view on the practical aspects of law . Therefore the curriculum in general seems well updated, it is very similar to symbiosis law school pune. Majority faculty from 3rd year are really nice . There are few faculties who are practicing lawyers or were in corporate field. Therefore they give a good overview on how to conduct yourself in internship. They also help you to understand the ground realities of internship. However, from next year a lot of faculties are leaving the college due to certain issues so there is an ambiguity now.
One internship opportunity was given by our college during a research paper writing competition. The top 5 best papers got to intern under Nisith and Desai law firm. There are certain efforts done by college where they offer students to attend certain seminars where it may or may not give you internship opportunities. Majority students get internship on thier own by applying to firms.
Placement cell in our college is non-existent, the only way you can connect with people is through events conducted by commities. Certain committe in our college give internship opportunities bia thier competitions. They do try bringing job placement but majority placement is through students' own contacts.

There is a fest called navrang conducted around January -february. It is not very prominent as other fests. The library however is well equipped with books with spacious place to study. We also have access to law journals and manupatra. Classrooms are newly built hence are in prostine conditions. There is also certain sports events called Solympics where cricket, football tournament etc happens.Apart from this we have certain book clubs, poetry clubs etc. However campus in itself is just limited to one building so there isn't much of a nice campus life, it's just a building.
There is no hostel service from nmims itself, if there are then it's very expensive. Students usually prefer hostel nearby and pgs or flat in vile Parle, juhu or Andheri.Rent for hostel according to my batchmates is around 5 lakhs per year . Flat would cost a student around 20-25 thousand per month with 2-3 flatmates sharing. This includes rent, electricity, water, food etc
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
