A review of NMIMS SOC
Likes
- Infrastructure is good. Class rooms are comfortable and we have smart boards
- Clubs- as mentioned above there's a variety of clubs to choose from
Dislikes
- Faculty- the faculty is not up to the mark
- Course Structure- All value added and non bba related subjects like IKS, IMT are put into one semester which makes it really monotonous. Moreover Excel and EOIT both are in the same sem when they could've been divided easily
Remarks :
The only thing required for the admission was the NPAT exam. You can have 3 attempts for this exam and exam fees is charged accordingly. In the month of June the results for the NPAT come on the NMIMS Portal where you can see your rank and admission status.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I heard that the faculty of this college was supposed to be amazing but i didn't feel that way. Most professors aren't even a phd just master's while some are CAs and are good enough. But comparing to other colleges the only thing we're learning is bookish knowledge which we got in school too

Following is the breakup if the fees structure of a general bba program in NMIMS- The Development fees is rupees 57000 The Other fees us 94000 The Tuition fees is 203000 The Security Deposit deposit is 5000, and The library deposit is 1000
Campus Life :
The one good thing about NMIMS is the variety of clubs ranging from Vaayu (their college fest) to a Debate Club, E-Cell, Corporate Interface Cell, Social Responsibility Forum and what not. But again the club HODs aren't very serious

An industry focused learning experience
Placement Experience :
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track

no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.

The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Average college provide average facilities

Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.

Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .

There are the placements are done in the final year of college, You are eligible for the appear in the placements drive you have to score good scores in the semester exams. There are the lowest 3LPA and highest 6LPA packages are offered by the companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, BOAT, SBI , Ultra Tech, Mahindra, Capgemini etc. Students have to maintain their SGPA up to 8.0 CGPA.

engineering course curriculum is very old specially for university batch students my batch get admission in 2022 at that our college is not get autonomous status. passing semester exams is little hard in university compare to autonomous batch. faculties teachings methods are very old. And not practical learning provided.

there are lots of mnc company visted college every year, most of companies have there eligiblity criteria is 60% and above overall from 10th, the biggest tech companies like tcs, wipro, accenture, deloitte, infosys, the average package is around 3lpa, every year 50 to 70% students getting placed.

The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
