one need to clear the NPAT examination for admission into NMIMS ASMSOC Mumbai. there is no other round of admissions such as GD or interview that is conducted. the admission is purely based on the npat examination in which a rank of around 3000 will get you into BCom honours and you will need around 2000 to get into BBA.
the course curriculum is really great and the faculty is quite corporators the way everything is explain this commendable. I noticed that the faculty is highly qualified and the exams that they conduct a quite difficult as compared to other colleges.
I have work with two organisations before namely pawzz foundation and green sole I was involved in the role of fundraising in both the organisations. both of these are non profit organisations. both the internships I have worked in were unpaid.
the only eligibility criteria for placements is that your attendance should be 80% and that you should have cleared all your examinations. the median package after the course lies between 7.5 to 8.5 lpa.
the entire college fee is paid at the beginning of the year and no fee other than the amount mentioned above is charged throughout the year. the fee for bcom honours is 260000 amount and that for BBA is 360000 month
the social life around the campus is really great the very famous fest of ASM associ called vaayu is a four day face that takes place around February. also there are a number of college clubs and you will definitely be able to fit in one or the other based on your interests.
I am currently living in a PG in Andheri West which is around 10 minutes from the college living near the college is quite expensive and most of the students do not opt for that. living in vile Parle can cost around 4.5 to 5 lakhs or year. my PG is currently offering unlimited electricity, accommodation, breakfast and dinner all in 25000 a month.
The placements & job opportunities in the campus placements is good in our college like honestly it is good and also it is reason for students to take admission because there are many company coming to college. The average package is around i will say is 4.5lpa of all branches and here ENTC and MECHANICAL branch have more than 96% placement rate The highest package is of 22lpa which was from CS. The ground reality the percentage of students placed from this college is around 70% like the core branches students have higher placement rates and technincal branches placement rate is of around 70%-80% the core branches students also gets placed in tech. The main recruiters are TCS,ESDS,WIPRO,TECH MAHINDRA,INFOSYS,L&T and more. NVIDIA was also there but last year they banned the college because some students cheated in online interview.
I haven't reached my placement stage yet but from what I have seen the college doesn't wait until the final year to start preparing students. We have coding sessions, skills building workshops and career guidance from the beginning. Seniors also share their experiences which gives us a better idea of what to expect. I feel the college is helping us build the right foundation for internships and placements. At the same time, I think getting a good job also depends on how much effort we put into improving our own skills. So far I feel I am on the right track
no placement data is present now but many of students are working on their own projects and few are cracked the internships and now currently serving their period on the companies and it's really great opportunities.
The college does have a placement cell. It provides some in campus placements . Rarely 2% students get in campus placements. Rest have to find jobs pn their own. You wi have to do alot of interships and gain practical skills to be placed
Diffrent companies have different criteria, limited companies comes in campus such as bootcoding Pvt.Ltd , and some small companies arrived. Highest package giving by companies is 4 LPA lowest package is 3LPA and average package is 2.5LPA. about 20% of students got placed. Searching a job after my course computation.
The faculty members are supporting but inexperienced the experienced professionals have left the college long time ago. This is one of the old colleges in Pune. The semesters are generally proactive extracurricular activities are less and are given not much priority .
The placements are nice. Majorly Hafiz contractor firm take students. But a lot of firms do come fruit placement. Take interview and hire students. Last year a lot of students got placements based on their portfolios and skills And got salaries ranging from 2,50,000-6,00,000 Annually.
The placement and job opportunities in college is good the MOU's signed by company are good almost 40-50% of college gets placement remaining go for off campus placements there are companies like TCS , Accenture etc
Psychology as a field is highly recognized and growing sector after the lockdown,people are more focused on mental health,thus bhavans was the best option as they have Psychology department set for almost 20years which makes them more experienced. The teaching method of Dr.kranti Gawali the hod is excellent.
