- The college is very green with lot of trees.
- The friends make it easy and survivable.
Dislikes
- The classes are not air conditioned which makes it difficult to attend classes during summers.
- Being a girls college it doesn’t have much exposure.
Remarks :
I took the cuet exam as part of the admission process in the college. For admission in any du college one needs to attempt cuet and clear that. After the yes we are allotted colleges as per our marks.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose to pursue BCom hons for my graduation because of my strong interest in finance and management. It is also a well recognised course offered by delhi university, known for its academic rigour and reputation. The faculty members are highly qualified, with most holding post graduate degrees and PhDs in their respective fields.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I have paid 22000 approx for annual fees every year and examinations fees twice a year. Examination fees depends upon the course and subjects like SEC, VAC, GE. There’s no other fees such as caution fees, development fees or lab fees.
Campus Life :
The life at campus is fun and hectic sometimes because of assignments and internal assessments. If you are a part of colle ge societies, union it’s more fun because you get to interact with new people, find like minded people.
Hostel Facilities :
I had not opted for a hostel or Pg so I’m not aware about the hostel mess. While the food at canteen is decent. Every year the college keeps upgrading making it better for everyone. We also have Nescafé so you can survive on it.

The internship opportunities are mainly available for the commerce departments and many companies also come to offer internships here. For humanities departments to internships comes mainly from the government ministries such as ministry of culture and home ministry.

The placement cell is active. Companies like Agile Capital Services, Chegg, and Wipro visit. Eligibility requires 60%+ marks. Highest CTC offered is around 8 LPA and Average package is 4.5 LPA. Around 40-50% students get placed, while science graduates prefer higher studies (M.Sc / B.Ed). My plan is pursuing higher education and managing my student e-portfolio platform.

Placement at PGDAV college are average students who have good communication skills internships and extra certification usually gets better opportunities the placement cell is active and organise placement drives , workshops , resume building session and career building guidance student should not have any active backlog

PLACEMENT FOR BBA ARE AVERAGE WITH COMPANIES OFFERING ROLE IN SALES, MAREKTING, HR AND OPERATION. AVERAGE PACKAGE IS AROUND 3 TO 4 LAKH PER YEAR MANY STUDENTS ALSO PURSUE HIGHER STUDIES LIKE MBA TO IMPROVE THEIR CARRER OPPORTUNITIES.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.
Maitreyi college is so underrated

The placement opportunities are genuine, infact there is a dedicated placement cell in the college, companies like EY, Deloitte, KPMG, PwC too participate in our placement fairs and students have actually got good placements!
