Reviewing Rajdhani college, Delhi university
Remarks :
This college is near to my house and comes under the south campus of Delhi university that’s why it has a good value also the fee is also very minimal with no extra charges added. To get admission into this college i had to give CUET exams and on the basis of my performance and marks this college was allotted to me. Cut off for this college was not too high and there was no group discussion and personal interviews. For cracking the CUET examination i had taken a crash course from one of the institutions that prepares students for such exams only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have a keen interest in novels and literature that’s the main point for me to choose this course also i have to prepare for civil service examinations so this course doesn’t pressurises much like the other courses. Besides this the college provides the best faculty for the course including both senior faculty and young faculty with a several year work experience. Teaching method is also very student friendly like engaging the whole class in small class discussions. Examinations held timely along with practical examinations and class tests and presentations. Difficulty level was moderate not too easy neither too difficult.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure is very simple including maintenance fund fee that is 2320, student fund charges fee that is 9310 and university charges fee that is 2940. This doesn’t includes any convenience charges and GST. Also the fee is payable yearly at the starting of every year.
Campus Life :
The college hosts a cultural fest every year in the month of march or april and invites some celebrities to it too. College has a huge library with an availability of nearly all the academic books and extra curriculum books as well. Most of the classrooms are equipped with air conditioners with clean and hygienic classrooms and corridors. College has a huge playground and also offers training for volleyball, cricket, football and other sports too. College has a functioning website of it’s own namely Rajdhani college.com and several societies that are run by students under the guidance of some convenors.

The placement is good for students of commerce background and even many arts students get placement. But for science students, there are rarely any science background companies hiring as even as an intern. Many science students go for higher studies. So, Rarely science students get placement and if placed then not in company of science background.

I chose my course because I was interested in learning a business environment and management processes. Faculties are very well experienced and professional , and teaching methods are good. Term exams are held every 6 months and difficulty level is not very high .
Doing masters in political science from Daulat Ram college
Placement Experience :
Drc has a decent placement for bachelors students and cell is very active, invites companies like Amazon, Deloitte, ipac , accenture, etc and offers around 6-20 lac. But drc doesn't provide placements for master's students, though there are many external opportunities to grab in . Masters student do apply for internships in political and policy roles and even get placed in political consultancies and awarded with fellowships.

du sol provides placement in news 18, aaj tak and job opportunities as according to the course of student pursuing. just visit to du sol north campus head quarter ask for the facility they will provide . bad thing is they dont provide on regular basis.

The placement cell is quite active. There are always placement and internship fairs every year and even other college students can join them. The placement recruiters are from top companies like Deloitte, KPMG, EY, etc. Although, not every one gets in these companies but then, there are other companies as well like Finshots, Voice Your Vichaar, etc. The average package is 3LPA and highest package is 8LPA.
