- I like the faculties the most. They are way too much supportive , helps you anytime when you need them.
- About the exposure in this college it's good as it is a tier 3 college itself
Dislikes
- The campus here is kind of small , and for the hostellers it's so strict and kinda feel restrict to be here
- Without permission from the hostel authorities, you can't even step out on your own no matter how much emergency you got .
Remarks :
I choosed this college because of it's seriousness regarding the studies of an individuals as well as because of seeing their encouraging behaviour towards a student to pursue the extracurricular activities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is good overall , it does helps you to get know about your weak point even if we talk about personality development, it sure help many students to know what they are capable of. Exams here conduct semester wise , before the semester wise the college conduct two MST . Attendance criteria is strictly followed by every one. Talking about the faculties, they are way to nice as they never refuse to help you out with any of your situations.
Placement Experience :
Many students got placed successfully in our college in companies like Amazon , Wipro , Airbus , etc. Even companies like TCS recently came for a seminar for all the cse dept. students. Exposure regarding entrepreneurship can be get from our entrepreneurship development cell . Even if we talk about the internship , it depend on an individual, how you put efforts is directly linked to what you want.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Total fees structure for btech cse is 640000 which includes the hostel fees of 35000 per semester. Every course here own it's own fees structure expect the hostel charges , it remains same for every individual
Campus Life :
The library committee in my college is always way to much active , many other colleges committees conduct many event nearly about 3-4 times a month . Different different event take place by different committees in the college.. Main two events take place every year named fusion and prayas .
Hostel Facilities :
If we talk about the hostel , it's kind of cheap as compared to other hostels nearby . Even the food quality is not so baad , it's good in someways. 2 seaters rooms , 3 seaters rooms as well as 4 seater rooms are available easily in the hostel. Many events even take place in hostel itself such as dj night , dandiya night , hostel's fresher , as well as many more festivals celebrated in the hostel

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
