- I really like the faculty members and the opportunities that are provided for extra curricular activities by the college. The leaves no stone unturned to give a proper evaluation to students for further development and semester exams and all the kinds of festivals and these are celebrated their to boost the social life of students like speech, competitions, debate competitions, treasure hunts, reel making , acting , drawing etc All the areas are covered which i really love about this college.
- They provide exemptions as well if any student is pursuing a professional course along with the graduation course like Ca along with bcom. They make sure that the student gets the exemption for attending coaching but also gives the exams and takes college notes and assignments seriously too.
Dislikes
- The current batch of apeejay that is the freshers have some kind of weird personality as they are not modern and broad . So that has been effecting the campus life lately which i look forward to be improved next year in some manner.
- You can skip lectures as u wish which contributes to students always skipping lectures and not going to college.There should be some kind of serious force driving the students into attending classes for their own well being and sake.
Remarks :
There was no interview session. You just have to fill a quite lengthy form which includes your personal details, your qualifications and marks scored in 10th and 12th . Information regarding your 12th and choosing of add on courses and choosing of the graduation course you want to enroll in and library form. You can go to college and get this form along with the prospectus by giving 1100/- if your marks for 12th are not out yet . Otherwise you have to pay half of your fees with the submission of the form. Your Apeejay Id is made and connected with digilocker. All the teachers are present at reception for helping out the students and they are quite professional with it. They help to fill the entire form with ease and perfection and all the queries are answered. I didnt face any kind of problem in the admission process. It was simple and easy.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because i had an interest in accounting. The teachers teaching there are above my expectations as they are highly qualified and their teaching method is very effective. Unlike the teachers that teach in schools, they teach slowly so that everyone can understand and lectures are not skipped from their side. Mid term exams are taken as well with full seriousness and evaluation is given for better performance in semester exams.
Placement Experience :
There is a placement committee in college which ensures that every student who is actually looking for a placement and doesnot have a family business or profession to take upto gets placement. For that the data is collected that how many students are there like this and what kind of placements they want. The further process of calling companies is done accordingly.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fees for bcom is 67000 per year and there are further charges of add on courses (cooking , tax management, global trade) etc which are 2700*2 and maintenance fees , fees availed from the university , lab fees which sums upto 81000.
Campus Life :
Campus life is pretty good because their are people who are having a good personality to operate in a college. There are various clubs like youth club student welfare club which includes various committees like women cell committee Stage committee Greivance redressal committee and many more. There is a moodle id available to students for the notes and assignments to be provided online. There are every kind of book in library and one can issue it easily. Ac classrooms are provided for only bcom course . Alot of competitions and events are held for students development.

Placement Experience :
To apply for placements in LPU you need to have 6+cgpa mostly. there no company as i know that went without recruiting any student. the highest was on campus was 51.03lakhs Microsoft and average was 5-6 lakhs. the students around 85 %will be placed .my plan was to do a decent job in any MNC.
Life at cgc landran.
Placement Experience :
Placement at CGC landran is decent around 70 to 80% student got placed based on your skills. The eligibility criteria usually includes minimum 60% marks with no active backlogs. Top recruiter companies includes TCS, Wipro, Infosys and Capgemini. The average package is around 3-4 lpa while highest package can go up to 10 to 12 lpa. Multiple offers are made every year across different domain.

Internships Opportunities :
I haven't done any intenship yet but Yes, internships are available at Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Mohali. Companies include TCS, Infosys, startups. Roles: Web Dev, QA, Data Analyst. Stipend ?5k–15k. Tasks include coding, testing, and project work.

Placement Experience :
The eligibility for placement is no backlog or reappear and CGPA IS above is 6 and fresher they get placement for 6thsem based on the skills and knowledge of the student and they provide a salary of 3 to 12 lakhs per/ year and recently SPICEJET company give around 8 lakhs CTC for 5 to 8 students and my plans after competing the degree is to do higher education in design modeling.

Placement Experience :
As the course is designed for pharmaceutical industry so the companies like mankind, sunpharma, macloid, overseas etc. Are top recruiters. The average package is 3-3.5 lakh per annum and highest goes upto 4lpa. As after masters most of the students goes for higher studies and teaching so the placement rate is low.

Overall Placement rate is about 60 to 70 percent for every branches . Recruiters provided descent opportunites to the students. Above 7 CGPA students get eligible. Some recruiter are Infosys, TCS, wipro, Siemens etc

College doesn't keep any eligibility criteria for placement it depends on the company which came for recruitment and yea if you had scored around 8+ cgpa you are eligible for every company Regularly company which come for recruiting students are infosys,tcs ,jsw , cognizant, Capgemini,L&T,tata steel etc Average package is 4LPA and highest package is around 55 LPA Around 75-80 percent students get placed in the college Some of the branches like instrumentation and control engineering and mechanical engineering have around 98-100% placement in the previous year

Since the college comes under an institution it opens the gate for various company and even those which just require a graduation degree instead of a specific field. Cadila Lupin etc visits every year. Good 60 to 70 students gets placed.

The placement are good but there are a lot of criterias for the placement and the college faculties force us to take the placement in the development roles to show that the college has 100% placement.There are less companies for the consultancy or data based jobs. The college doesn't provide any on campus intership. They provide intership in the college Startups and they pay very very less and they exploit the interns as lot. I got only 500 rupees for doing 1 month internship and working 6 hours a week.
