- The best thing i like about the college is its environment. Manipal have the best campus atmosphere and environment for the students. Manipal gives a lot of freedom to students at the same time the also have balanced the academics , so that students go with a balanced life. The campus infrastructure is really good. It have all the vibes of a university campus. The university is spread in around 300 acres with lot of buildings, garden, park ,food court, gym , swimming pool, football ground, cricket ground, hockey ground, 2 basket ball courts, tennis court, 3 volleyball court etc. They university provides the best atmosphere for students. Other best thing of manipal is that manipal is happening place. Its a city with lot of pubs and clubs. And all the clubs hosts parties every now and then and most of the time manipal students will have free entry. And weekends in manipal is so good. All these attracts students to manipal
Dislikes
- Only thing i dislike about the campus is that there is hostel curfew timings and closing time for main gate as well. The main gate will close at 11. And also about the grounds as well, they will off the lights of the ground at 9 i think its too early to off the lights
Remarks :
The factors that made me choose this college is that, most of my seniors and friends from school told me about this college and its environment. And when i started to search more about MAHE i felt this is the best place where everything comes under one. They have good placements, internships, faculty, infrastructure, the University environment literally everything. That made me to choose Mahe.
Course Curriculum Overview :
B.com professional is a three year course with 6 semesters. In this 6 semesters we have 5 semester classes offline and 1 semester compulsory intership and viva for internship. Different electives will be given in alk semesters and we can choose whichever we want according to our interest , along with electives there will be compulsory subjects as well. Subjects are marked for 100 , out of which 50 is internal mark and 50 is written examination.
Internships Opportunities :
Yes, i have opted for an internship provided my college. The company is My tax filer, a US tax based company which does tax filing and related issues. Stipend was around 15000 per month and it was a great experience and an opportunity to develop my skill and knowledge. The college itself provides lot of internship for the students in the last semester as there is compulsory internship in last semester. The also have tie up with large companies. Thus they are able to provide good internship for the students
Placement Experience :
I guess manipal have the best placement and job opportunities. Because they have tie up with lot of companies that comes every year for campus placement recruitment and as well as they offer internship for the students. They carry down different selection processess and selects the students with great potential. Companies like EY, Deloitte, Accenture, ANZ, mos Adams , my tax filer are the major placement opportunities for b.com and bba students. MIT have the best placements in manipal as they have lot of top companies coming up for campus recruitment. Overall manipal provides best placements to students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The detailed structure of tuiton fee is that we have to 179000 in the first year including security deposit. And 16900 in the second and third year. No other fees are there apart from these. Hostel and mess fees are not included in this, that fee is seperate
Campus Life :
Manipal is a well known part place. The social life in manipal is extremely good. There are lot of pubs and clubs in manipal. The life inside the campus is also pretty good, the infrastructure of the campus is well built it attracts the students more. The social groups and clubs in MAHE is also really good as they offer events all the time. The main fests in manipal is happening between june- dec , the revels fest , ablaze everything is happening in the even semester. And the hostel Management 'ZOLO' also host many events on special days like onam, deepavali, ganesh chaturthi,holi like that in the campus itself. Thus manipal have the best fest and clubs .
Hostel Facilities :
There are different types of hostels available for students in Manipal, like single ac room with attached bathroom , non ac , non attached, common, double sharing. All these have different fee structure. To apply for hostels and fee payment is through a website called SLCM and SIS portal. Also there are different mess available in the campus, students can choose whichever mess they want. 2 main food courts are available, FC 1 and FC 2 and also different mess and canteens like apoorva, annapoorna are available near every hostels

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
