My College Experience, Manipal
Remarks :
Chose this college for the sole reason of getting 9 paper exemption in ACCA, had looked for other colleges as well but manipal was the one closest to my home which provided what I was looking for so it was like a no brainer, plus always used to hear how fun manipal is which added to it
Course Curriculum Overview :
Wanted to get a professional certification and ACCA was booming at that time, so researched a bunch of colleges and DOC, MAHE was the one closest to my hometown which provided ACCA as well with 9 paper exemption
Internships Opportunities :
The internship i did was not through college, found on my own but there are internship opportunities u can get through college. The one I did was in saudi arabia at an auditing firm, none of my friends did the internship through college, all of us had found on our own
Placement Experience :
Placement opportunities were less, I feel like the placement department could've done a better job as many of us are still hunting on our own and it's kinda difficult finding on our as we are not really able to get much leads. The placements our colleges offered there were like 2-3 companies that were top notch rest all were low tier
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The yearly fees is 1.54L which had to be paid with a caution Deposit at the beginning which 10k, the caution Deposit would be returned once you're done with the studies, we got ours before our graduation. Also the hostel fee was paid for yearly basis as well, since I didn't stay for one whole year and moved out , the remaining was refunded.
Campus Life :
Campus Life was dull as the commerce department was not that active but things have changed now and I've seen my juniors being very active in the commerce department but for us college life was pretty dull but outside campus Life was super fun
Hostel Facilities :
Stayed in hostel for like 4-5 months and then moved out, tbh hostel was really good the infrastructure and all were top notch but it was expensive at the same time so had to be good. The mess was also good the food was decent but you would get bored of it at some point, I'm pretty sure w any mess u would get bored cuz of the repetition. Overall a good experience

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

Course Curriculum Overview :
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
MSc Physics at Christ

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
