- The best thing of the university is the faculties. Faculties are well behaved and are quite friendly. They guide us throughout the graduation period.
- The Campus life will be a major factor for the students of Sri Sri University as there is a soothing and peaceful environment present throughtout the campus. There is greenery all over the campus which gives us a great feeling. A night walk in this university will recover all the stress. The moments that you create here will be unmatchable and unforgettable.
Dislikes
- There is nothing in this univerity that you will dislike but for me it will be the infrastructure. The infrastructure could be improved as several departments are being present in a single building. There must be different buildings for different departments and courses.
- As i have stated earlier that the mess food is decent and it can be improved. As the students are paying the fees they have the right to have the delicious and yummy food.
Remarks :
It is a great University. The campus is a plus point of this university. Everywhere is greenery and peace. I came across the website of this university. There will an qualifying exam for which a certain amount of registration fee will charged. After the completion of the exam, on the basis of your performance in the exam you will be selected. A mail will be sent to your registered mail id if you are being selected. All the details (like when will the admission process starts, what are the necessary documents required,the fee structure for your particular course etc) will the provided in the mail.
Course Curriculum Overview :
For B.Sc (Hons.) Agriculture students it is very good university because of the environment and also the price point. At this price point there is no other universities available with this much of facilities. This universities gives maximum facility in minimal costs for agriculture students. The traching staff is also great. This course has the maximum amount of teaching staffs as compared to other departments. As the teaching staffs are maximum then it is ovious that there be no compromise in the studies. This department has various HODs for various departments (i.e. plant pathology, horticulture, farm machinery, extension etc) and all the teachers are friendly as well. They thoroughly guide the students throughout their graduation period. The exams includes a mid-term and an end-term per semester. Practical exams are also being included in many subjects.
Internships Opportunities :
As i a final year student, currently I am in a 3-month internship which is a government internship. In this internship we have to follow the instructions of the Block Agriculture Officer (BAO) of alloted block. The BAO of the alloted block will assign the work and guide us throughout the program. Also various other internships are also suggested during the graduation period. Stipend amont depends on several factors like the type of internship, company, work and duration of the internship that is being provided.
Placement Experience :
It gives a variety of placement opportunities. Several multinational companies (i.e. Deloitte, Accenture etc) come for the placement and maximum students are being selected during this process. There is also a placement cell present in the university which only works on the placement. As soon as you are 2nd year you are eligible to give the name to the placement cell. The average package during a placement will be 4-5 lpa.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The fee structure of B.Sc.(Hons.) Agriculture in Sri Sri University, Cuttack depends on which semester you are studying in like if you are in an odd semester (i.e. 1,3,5,7) the tuition fee will be 67000 and for the even semester (i.e. 2,4,6,8) it will be 60000 but the hostel fee (i.e. 30000) remains constant for every semester. Also if you are willing to opt for mess facility there will be extra charges (i.e. 28500) taken. The mess facility will always be available but for the 1st year students it is mandatory means you have to compulsorily give the tuition fee, hostel fee and mess fee if you are in 1st year but as soon as you become 2nd year the mess facility will be optional. Here various types of scholarships are also provided during the graduation period. The fee structure that is described above is for academic year 2021-2025 agriculture students and also it may vary for different courses and batch.
Campus Life :
It will be a great experience in the campus. The people around you will be friendly and you can have fun with them. Apart from the academics there is a good scope for sports as well. Various types of sports programme (i.e. Collympics, League-A-thon, Orion Sports, Athleta) also occur during a academic year in which various students can participate and show their talents in sports as well.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel rooms are quite good as compared to other universities. Various type of rooms are there which includes 2,3,4 sharing rooms and also AC rooms are even provided. The room structure is very good. Attatched bathrooms are also available for 2,3 sharing and AC rooms but for 4-sharing rooms there will be common bathrooms. It is not compulsory to opt for the hostel, if you are interested in hostel then only you have to opt for hostel and also if you opt for hostel in the 1st year then it is compulsory to opt for the mess facility. Several PGs are also available at affordable prices near the university. Transportation facility is also readily available in the sorrounding. The mess food is quite decent. Also 3-4 canteens are also present inside the campus in which variety of dishes are being made. I suggest the 1st year students to take the hostel facility as these are the memories which lasts with you till the end.

There campus placement here are ok startups came here and many big mncs like tcs, flipkart etc. Some department get companies like the MBA but that is an exceptional case. No other department participate in campus drive or placement cell. Students need to apply off campus to get placed.

for placement students need to get atleast 7cgpa. The placement is decent where most students around 85% get placed . Main companies are accenture, tcs, infosys , cognizant etc. Highest package was 9lpa and average was around 4lpa . I plan to work in one of the companies i get placed in.

Students are eligible for placements from third year onwards on a condition that the student has good skills and created good projects. Companies are still coming to ITER since July, various companies like Wipro, Xerox, Paytm, Flipkart, DELL, Microsoft, TCS Infosys and various other MNCs and startups come to the campus for placements and also provide pre placement offers. Currently I have no idea about the highest and average packages as per the company and the profiles offered, but I know that the highest package offered in Iter has been 43 lakhs pa and the average package is around 6lacs-8lacs. There are certain criteria set by the college for the students to be eligible to sit in the placement, out of that more than 85% to 90% of eligible students have secured placements. Students also get internships from second year. After I get a degree and if I land a suitable job then it's okay otherwise I will look to get into civil services or defence.

It has average placements. They also provide training for that. You will be eligible from 4th year. They also provide practice schools where the eligibility is 8 cgpa. They also provide training in the 3rd and 4th year. The companies which I know are Infosys Accenture Capgemini Genpact Mindfire solutions Mindtree. Tcs. pwC Deloitte Inovaare Tata Power Cosmovolt Tech Mahindra etc. They mostly provide the packages in the range 3.5-6 lpa ..The average oncampus placement this year was 4.5 lpa and the highest was 14.5 lpa. The 30 lpa shown was off campus. So you can get jobs according to your skills and cgpa . Overally the placement is just average but roi may be better.

Actually as I am a undergraduate I don't exactly know how much is the eligibility criteria for placement but I know that the guest lecturers are given according to number of classes they do in a month My plans after getting a degree is to give jrf net /gate and to further study in reasearch lines.

Eligibility criteria for placements are based on cgpa cut off and no backlogs are allowed. A few companies that came for recruitment are Infosys, Tcs , Accenture , Cognizant , Dell , Deloitte . Profiles offered are mostly of software engineer and average package is around 600000 per annum . My plan after getting degree is to go into software engineering job .

Yes, we do have a placement cell over here and is quite good. Many well-known companies come to recruit their employees, and the companies are quite satisfied over our senior's hard work and smartness. Many companies like Google, Amazon, Flipkart, Delloyd, etc., come to give good placements to the students at the college. I don't know the exact numbers, but the highest package was around 45 lakhs, and the average package was around 5 lakhs per annum. The average percentage of students getting placements is roughly around 70% to 80%. Currently for me, I don't have a solid plan to what to do but you never know some miracle might happen. Just joking, I do have a plan for the near future, but I am little worried about the future that on one before me start that initiative that I have thought about it.
