Review of IIIT Naya Raipur for Btech in ECE for 2015 -2021

- Infrastructure , Campus life and good sports facilities.
- Good locality. Good public vehicle service. Good bakery shop.
Dislikes
- Teaching, Food , outdated syllabus, not useful assignment
- No environment for spiritually inclined people.
Remarks :
Factors that made me choose college - Good academic facilities and hostel facilities. No test faced only applied through JEE mains. Very bad teaching , very bad food, Outdated subjects taught. Good internet facility, good hostel and good equipments for research. I prepared through coaching for JEE.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose because I wanted to do BTech. Course curriculum was outdated with few exceptions. Faculties were very bad in teaching. Teaching equipments were modern but method of teaching very bad. Qualification of the faculty - Mostly PHd. Some from IIT and some from foreign institute s. Term exams were timely and difficult level was good.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship- BIztime IT solutions in Bangalore online. Company - Conjoinix Total solution with stipend 8000 per month. I made a college project based on the BIztime internship. Project name- Customer query resolution system. This system was developed to engineering services in rural area.
Placement Experience :
During my time placements were average.I applied in off campus and got a job of computer scientist in Delhi in Good company. I learned from the internet for the job . College subjects didn't came useful. Highest package - 40 lac per annum. Average package - 5 lac per annum. About 50 percent placed. My plans was to join a good company.

FEES OF ONE ACADEMIC YEAR- One time payment during admission: Admission fee - 500 Grade card - 250 Provisional certificate - 100 Medical examination - 150 Alumni fund -500 Identity Card -250 Career development fund - 1000 Student's welfare - 1000 Caution money -3000 Total - 6750 Per semester academic fee: Tuition fee -45000 Examination fee- 1000 Registration fee -1000 Medical insurance+PHC fee -1000 Total - 48000 Hostel and message expenses: Hostel rent -1500 Electricity charges -2000 Hall establishment charges -2500 Mess advance ( adjustable) -10000 Total - 16000 Now the fees has increased. I have joined in 2015.
Campus Life :
Campus Life is good. Social life is average. Clubs are there like sports , dance and music. Infrastructure is best. Fest name - Technovate Conducted mostly during February - March. Sports - Basketball, football,gym , carrom and cricket. Even e-sports. Extra curricular - Ganesh chaturthi Pooja and Saraswati Pooja. Amenities in classroom - Projector, good ACs. Library - Good engineering books , UPSC books , Spiritual books,etc
Hostel Facilities :
Hostel is compulsory. Hostel is very good infrastructure. Food quality - very bad. Menu is good. Registration is included during admission time. Locality is empty. We have nearby village with every Tuesday bazaar. We have one market in locality with good food , good items to buy. Have one dhaba also. Bus comes in front of college gate every now and then to travel.

Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose Mechanical Engineering as my course here, as i am interested in Automotive, and also this institute is near my home town. There are permanent faculty members present in institute. All lectures are done in proper classrooms and study materials are also provides digitally. They are very easy to approach and helpful in nature, they help us solving doubts and gives us tips in study.

There is not much placement opportunities for the students of biotechnology compared to the students of b.tech. basically the placement is based on a merit list so not All students are benefited with this kind of placements only the students who wear like gold medalist where awarded this placement. For the the students in the BTech where awarded with better job opportunities and placement.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Rungta collage have a good numbers of companies in there list , and most of them visited every year for placements , almost 90% + students got placed every year and the average salary offered is 4 LPA.

From the 5th semester students become eligible for internship and from starting of 4th year companies start on campus recruitment process . Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
