- Hostel room, Wifi facility and Campus is very well maintained
- There is not much restrictions in the hostel. So your pretty free to do anything
Dislikes
- Faculty is very bad. They don't got enough teachers to handle the subjects and classes
- Some teachers hold grudges against a student or a group of students from a certain region of the country. Some teachers also show more interest in the student group of certain region of the country.
Remarks :
Great ROI, And 100% placement. There are no such tests on the time of admission. Just the same submission of documents and fee submission ar written in josaa. There is a separate spot round after the csab round which happens for the remaining seat.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The faculties are not so great. There are always internal politics involved. The faculties will make the life hell if you do any rebel against any teacher. There is also no direector in our college. He resigned in April 2024.
Internships Opportunities :
Applied for many internships but most companies only taking students in their 3rd year. I am currently a research intern in Samsung R&D. This is the only internship opportunity that comes on campus which is not paid. There is no meaning to do the internship if it is just for the completion certificate.
Placement Experience :
Placements are not very good in 2024. Yet some students got 1.5cr and many of them still not placed. Only handful of the companies are coming and if they come they only take 2 or 3 students. Maybe due to recession ig
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For first sem - around 1,27,000 For the remaining - 1,08,000 This is the estimate from my side. Currently don't know the latest sem fees but it still floats around this much. The overall cost doesn't exceed 9lakhs including hostel and mess.
Campus Life :
Campus life is great. The hostels and campus are pretty clean. The facilities are also very good. You have a pretty good walkable campus and the good thing I find is you can reach any corner of the campus within 10 mins.
Hostel Facilities :
Staying in hostel is necessary for all the students. The mess food is below average. The mess committee really tries it's best to update the menu and the quality of the food but the mess provider is very bad and the administration also does nothing to help the students.

According to Nirf reports 2023 , 13 ug(3, yr), 123 uh(4yr),1ug (5 yr) ,115pg (2yrs) and 38pg(3yr) students are placed and median package offered is INR 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa, int 4 lpa, inr 3 lpa and inr 2.45 lpa .

Placenta for whole college is going on good not ver best coz of recession but yeah core branches placements are nice specially metallurgy and chemical branch . our branch average package previous year is 8.7 lac and for this year it is 8.3 lack almost all are placed. For cse and IT branch placement is not going well as I said before due to recession . over all.avg pckg of nit raipur is 9.5 lac gor all branch.

If you are from top branches like CSE, IT then you'll numbers of internship oppurtinities but for lower branches the intership oppurtinities are less. Mostly all the student get placed through campus placement but someone left the can try offcampus oppurtinities.

Top companies visited Nit Raipur for placements are Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Samsung, Arcisium, Phonepe etc. Highest package offered was 55 lacs per annum. and for IT branch Average package was 18.11 lacs per annum.
